I just started walking for about 40 min. in the morning before work. Right after I feel good, so I take my shower and get ready for work. But by the time I get to work, I'm so exhausted I can barely drag myself in the building. Then I feel real low-energy all day. I sleep real good at night though, but feeling so exhausted all day is killing me.
I'm hoping this is temporary since I just started and I guess my body is still adjusting.... what do you think?

I believe I'm eating right. I'm diabetic so I make sure that I'm eating balanced meals with plenty of vegies and some fruit. I eat several small meal throughout the day to keep my sugars level.
For breakfast I usually eat either a bowl of cheerios with fruit and skim milk, or a 2 egg omelett with vegies and some cheese mixed in.

Your body could still be adjusting, especially if you're waking up earlier than you're used to. But make sure that you're paying attention to your diet too. The wrong foods could make you sluggish as well.

Are you eating breakfast? If not, that may explain why you don't have enough energy. Even if you don't have a morning exercise routine, breakfast is important to your overall good health. Breakfast helps prevent hypoglycemia and prevents binge eating later in the day.

If you are eating breakfast but still fatigued, you may want to start with a 20 minute routine until you work up enough stamina to increase your duration.

you made no mention of what you are eating for breakfast. your breakfast consists of?

Edit:

since you are diabetic you should be consuming low GI carbs explicitly so 86 the Cheerios, they are far too heavily processed. your carbs need to be all natural like whole oats, lentils, barley, chick peas, beans, etc. then through in some low GI fruits like strawberries, cherries, rasberries, etc. I would also not consume much milk. while milk may be low GI it's high on the insulin index.

i think the exercise part is right, but you're probably not eating right. make sure you're eating 3 small meals and 3 small snacks (healthy) a day. also, drink a lot of water to flush the toxins out of you. i think you will find that you feel more energized.

good luck!! =)
