Im also supposed to be starting my period soon.. cause my boobs are tender like they usually are before my period... Is it normal for them my right one to itch? And the lump is hard and not on my breast but above it.

Noone here is going to be able to answer this question properly.

If you get comfort from someone on this question forum it will be shortlived because none of us are M.D.'s and a real M.D. isn't going to diagnose you without seeing you.

There are a number of things this could be including clogged ducts, an adrenal gland, a fibrocystic mass (benign), and lastly and possibly cancer.

You really need to get this checked out. At 17, they will do an ultrasound.

At your age, cancer is unlikely, but possible.

Typically breast cancer is neither painful or itchy, but there are exceptions.

Given your period is about to start, hormonal lumps are a posibility.

If the lump is still there after your period, get it checked by your Dr to set your mind at rest.

My cousin had one of this problem, except her lump was on her neck. Definitely, most positively go to the doctor. She had to undergo through a surgery, and i'm not saying this to scare you. because it might not be the same for you, because youre around the breast area.
She took an mri exam a couple months ago, and it said she's fine, and it was just a lump they had to get rid of.
Just consider going to a doctor, before it might get worse.
they fix it

Cancer tumors usually do not hurt or itch... But there is always and exception to the rule too.

You should probably show a doctor the lump....

When I was 16, I had my first breast tumor. At 17, my second. I was diagnosed with acute fibrocystic disease. That means benign tumors of the breast. I am now 53. I've had 19, yes 19, operations on my breasts, including mastectomies. GO TO THE FREAKING DOCTOR NOW!

I think you are too young to have breast cancer. It could be a cyst. However, you should it have checked out immediately by the doctor. The longer you wait, the bigger the chance that whatever's wrong will get worse.

You need to go to the doctors. You do not want to mess with this. My mom has had several lumps in her breasts and has caught them before anything bad happens. If you say that it is hard you NEED to go to the Doctor's and have them check it right away. this is something that I would not wait on. Trust me I have seen the fear my mom feels when she has to go, and I understand if you are scared, buy you need to go.

Breast cancer in a 17 year old is very rare, it sounds more like a fibroadenoma which is more likely in a teen..GO to the doctor to ease your mind...A fibroadenoma is not cancer..............

im 19, and i had a mammogram, but because we are both young, the doctor has to have good cause to sign you up to get one... it could most likely be a clot of tissue or a cyst...
