well lady b i was just asking a question, sorry to have offended you, but we are all intitled to our own opinions, and young women that are pretty or not degrade themselves when they crawl out of bed to come and get a cd, or something of that nature,

I really don't get where someone's self-respect is when they are willing to go out in public looking like they just rolled out of bed and went straight out the door without even brushing their hair. It's just really tacky and silly.

... you're kidding! people go outside like that? maybe it's really some type of fashion that looks like pj bottoms or mens boxers? I went to a restaurant recently and the waitress dress looked like a nightgown while I know it's not so...
and well, I know about the socks with sandals but I've only seen men do that actually. but it should be illegal! ... the fashion police is a myth right?... too bad...

I would much rather see a female wearing their PJ's than see a female wearing clothing that's too tight, too small, doesn't cover hardly anything or wears shirts that show their bra.

When people are in their own homes, they are free to be as "comfy" as they choose.
But when we venture out into the world, we should give at least some small thought to other people.
Also, if someone can't be bothered to put on jeans instead of underwear or pajamas, maybe the mere effort of getting out of bed is too much for them, too.

My opinion is that if one is covered suitably, it doesn't matter much to me the material or style of what they are wearing. When I go out shopping, I do so to get the items I need, not in order to be a fashion plate. When I am shopping at fashionable stores or at malls, I pay more attention to appearance, but running into the basic store (like Wal-Mart), it's really no big deal.

I think that sometimes it can be cute... to a certain point.
BUT honestly, I'd rather see people wear pajama bottoms then wearing short-shorts that could pass for underwear out in public!
And whats worse, is when people wear no bras under their shirts, or you can tell someone is not wearing underwear. NOW that is disgusting!
*And to the peeps saying that people need to be "comfy" in their own homes, but not out in public... Try telling that to a pregnant woman who is 8 months along... Hopefully she won't scratch your eyes out. ;o)

I personally don't think women shold wear anything other than moodest skirts or dresses. But I can't say that, because until I'm on my own, I wear what my mother is willing to buy me. anyway, I agree, shopping in pj's or men's boxers is innapropriate. and degrading.

Don't really care as long as it's hygienic. I've been to too many parts of the world for there to be one universally acceptable dress code.

I agree this is pretty much the tackiest thing I've ever seen and it would seem to me that these people are gullible enough to think that this is style and yet aren't confident enough in themselves to know that this is just baaaaaaaad!

Tacky-tacky-tacky. You forgot to mention the older women who wear the polyester mumus to go out shopping. They sometimes add curlers to their hair for that "crowning touch". I also hate "muffin top"-pants so tight the gut protrudes out on all sides,or "coin slot"-low pants and a thong.
