For it was written that They Would Be Hated for Their Faith
Matthew 10: 22 tells us:
“You will be objects of hatred by all people on account of my name".
Furthmore, early on faithful Christians were “objects of hatred” by the Romans for two basic reasons: (1) their Bible-based beliefs and practices, and (2) the false accusations against them. Regardless of the reason, the opposers had but one objective—the suppression of Christianity. Of course, the real instigators of the persecution of Christians were superhuman opposers, unseen wicked spirit forces as in Satan and his demons. (Ephesians 6:12)
Like the early Christians, Jehovah’s Witnesses in modern times have been “objects of hatred” in various lands. Yet they do not hate non-Witnesses; nor have they ever been a seedbed of insurrection against governments. On the contrary, they are known worldwide for practicing genuine love that crosses all social, racial, and ethnic barriers. Why, then, have they been persecuted? And how do they respond to opposition?
John 15: 17 - 19 (Jesus tells us)
“These things I command YOU, that YOU love one another. If the world hates YOU, YOU know that it has hated me before it hated YOU.
If YOU were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because YOU are no part of the world, but I have chosen YOU out of the world, on this account the world hates YOU".
Simply put, the world hates Jehovah's Witnesses because they do not conform to the worldly things like most all religions do. Witnesses do not behave like 90% of the world's population therefore, they are hated for not "acting like the rest of the world" and doing the detestable things of the world like participating in politics which causes separation, death, dissention, and violence, they don't participate in wars or violence, they don't engage in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, and they do not participate in most of the worldly ensnares as most people do in the world and they cannot be blamed for all the badness that goes on in the world today. Pretty much, they live their lives in harmony with Godly, Biblical standards and not the way the world tells you how this and that is great and grand.
It is a no wonder why at Armageddon 90% of the world's population will be destroyed.
I think you asked a wonderful question; it needed to be asked for a while. Thank you, and I hope my answers have helped.

I don't dislike them. I dislike their ideas. If my best friend said she was a Jehovah I wouldn't care. Also, since when is Christian a reason for being good? And now that I think of it, cults aren't about money either. As for the overall question, I'll elaborate my first statement. Their beliefs don't make sense to me. Neither does Christianity, Islam, Judaism, or anything else. But there is a fine line between hating someone and hating their beliefs.

Mostly because they do not conform to philosophical teachings that have been passed down through the centuries (Matthew 15:3). Also, because they hold to moral standards that are higher than those around them(1 Peter 4:4). Another reason is because of their preaching work that Jesus commissioned his true disciples to do. (Acts 5:42; Romans 10:13-15; Matthew 28:19, 20)
After reading some of the answers, it also becomes evident that many people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance. They do not really know what Jehovah's Witnesses believe. For example, Jehovah's Witnesses do NOT believe that only 144,000 people will be saved. Rather, they believe that only 144,000 people will be chosen by God to rule in heaven as kings and priests over the earth Revelation 5:9, 10; 14:3). Millions others, int turn, will live forever on a paradise earth (Psalm 37:29; Matthew 5:5) I look forward to living forever on a paradise earth that has been cleansed of all wickedness.-Psalm 37:9-11, 29; Proverbs 2:21, 22; Revelation 21:4

I respect Jehovah's Witnesses because they are trying to spread the Word just like Jesus did-by going out into the community. However, I admit they annoy me because they are "invading my space"-coming up to my door and bothering me. I usually just say "no,thanks,I have my own religion" and they leave. I think in this day and age, they should reconsider their mission because of all the weirdos out there-it's not safe for people to go door to door for any reason.

I suppose it i because they come around to you door every year asking if you'd join them, they don't say the pledge of alligence ( I don't really care, but for some reason, people find t offensive), and well, I suppose it's just how strict the are. I've got no problem, all religions are cool.

I personally don't, I've had little exposure to them in several years. However when I was younger they used to call round my parents' home often, knocking on doors to get money, and when they didn't get any they'd come back with people in wheelchairs and other handicaps, they'd bring children.
I'm not saying all JWs are like this, but I can understand why some people aren't happy with them, those sorts of tactics aren't acceptable.

In looking into the imbalances on earth mother nature researched religions.... as nature heals spiritual information including that of the bible changes... that is why there are so many versions... Mother Nature hates religions, the damage, distortion and interference with evolution it causes... that is why not one religion exists in her name... that is why they may seem more orderly and kinder at times than the other type, but don't trust them.. on the way out the door she left a karmic omen with them... 2 weekly magazines... Watchtower, all religion and bible quotes... and Awake natural information, very little if any bible stuff while she was with them.. The Omens are this One will fall like the tower of Babylon and the other... WAKE UP you fools. or knowing this is being awake.

That they have a separate section of the church that dictates what the church believes. They overindocrinate the believers and make them do what they want. They change their doctrine which is unbiblical. Actually, doctrine is unbiblical and I dont know why you would go to any church that includes such in their belief system. That is what Jesus wanted to destroy. I dont believe that you can classify all churches as taking peoples money, as we are told that it is good to tithe. it is when preachers beg for your money that that is when it is wrong, because then they are not acting on faith, they are acting on greed. Also, I doubt the jehovahs witnesses deny their congregation's 10%.

I think it is more about what JWs teach is why people don't like them. If you go way back from where the Watch Tower began, you will know why. You also have to understand, the doctrine that they teach is also why. I have known some that have tried to say that their doctrine is true and all, but when you try to share them what you have, they don't want to hear anything. So, there are two sides of the story. And the only way you will know who they truly are and what they stand for is by going way back to their history.

We do not have men who preach because they get paid to preach that is their job. So since they get nothing they are not afraid to teach the bible exactly as it says we should live.
Why they are hated is because Satan hates them because it is the truth. We should be kind and not fight wars. We shouldn't be racist and hate others.
Muslims should love us, no muslim was ever shot at or killed by one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
We do believe that this earth will one day be a paradise in which people from all nations will live together in peace.
How does that hurt anyone? So the only reason I can figure is that the reason they hate us is because it is the truth.
