I feel that if a relationship works for a couple, threesome, foursome, etc., that is for the individuals involved to determine.

Indifferent.

How consenting adults choose to live is not for me to either support or oppose. I only support people's right to be left alone.

I have to assume that in a consensual relationship, it's consented to by all parties. If so, there's nothing wrong with it. And polygamy should be a viable marital state in such cases. However, we must also allow for women to have multiple husbands to be fair. However, there's also a practical side to this, and that's population control. If we allow polygamy, we should also limit the number of children they can have. It's just common sense.

I personally think that consenting adults (those over the age of 18) should be able to have this type of relationship. After all, Biblical speaking, King David, Solomon, and others had many, many, many, many wives (as well as concubines). And up until these men began worshiping idols, G-d bestowed a great many blessings on them. I think it is hypocritical of Christians to be 'anti-polygamist' and still believe in the Bible as the Word of G-d.

That is what a "Marital Contract" is for, to settle all those issues before they become problems.

From the spermatozoid, males are weaker than females, thus giving more female births than male, by nature women are more than men, so if polygamy is not applied, there will surely be many keeps for one man, and as they will not be tied in any marriage ties, they will share partners, thus increase the MST (Aids and others).
The Prophet Muhammad PBUH says day will come when 50 keeps will one man have.

It sounds fine, except what do you do if you have 3 wives and one of them wants a divorce? How is custody of the children handled? How about child support and alimony? What about marital assets like the house - the divorcing spouse would have a right to a pro rata share of the assets, right?

What if you have a dead beat lazy spouse and 2 other spouses who work hard and earn most of the money. Does the dead beat lazy spouse who wants a divorce get any marital assets? How will all this be determined? Can the divorcing spouse force a sale of the house?

I support consensual polygamy and polyandry. I do not believe that the government has any business whatsoever legislating the types of marital relationships that can be entered into by two (or more) consenting adults.

Oppose. I feel it is selfish not only on the mans part but on the woman's part as well. I feel these women who willingly participate in this are to damn lazy to be the mother, wife and role model for her children on her own without have 3,5, or 10 other women around helping her do the job.. And dont get me started on the population issues they cause by have 4 or 10 kids by each woman. I've seen plenty of shows on this with cults ect. where the female children in these situations do not get the choice of consent to marry a man with more than one wife.

Oppose.

Can you imagine being married to multiple Hillary Clintons?

I think one wife is more than enough for any man. Particularly, with the Divorce rate being what it is today. If one man cannot keep one woman satisfied, then he has zero chance keeping multiple women satisfied.

I do not support polygamy. My reading of scripture leads me to conclude that a man should have one wife and a wife one husband. That is the model given us by God both in the structure of the first human family and as metaphor for the relationship between God and the Church.
