Some family and friends are going on vacation next week and we do a theme dinner every night. Tuesday is 'tini Tuesday and I was wondering what kind of food would go well with martinis. It's all in good fun so nothing super fancy 5-star dining stuff please.

I think an assortment of appetizers would work best. Shrimp cocktail, stuffed mushrooms, mini-quesadillas, a variety of cheeses, etc. Sounds good to me.

Depending on the type of martini that you are going to have... The chocolate ones are better on their own- not really good for eating with anything.

The fruity martinis are good with some seafood and mango or coconut flavored foods!

Steak, Potatoes & Salad = Classic steak house meal is completed with a martini - shaken not stired with olives!

I want to be your friend!!!

With tini's I'd just do appetizers.

Shrimp cocktail, crab leg cocktail, fried olives (deep fried Spanish olives), little meatballs, little pizza's, humas w/ pita triangles, vegi's w/dip....look on foodnetwork.com for ideas.

Martini's don't pair will with any food.
