I have a son who is 6 and I run into this all the time when his classmates have parties! I like to give Highlights magazine as a gift. You can call and find out if the child already has a subscription. I once found a nice age-appropriate scrapbook kit at Barnes and Noble that I thought was really cute. It had precut papers and room for about 15 or 20 photos. I thought any little girl would love a book like that with photos of herself and her friends. Good luck!

My six year old girl is into:
Crafts, crafts, crafts
Dress-Up Clothes
Make-Up
Stuffed Toys
Barbies
Kites
Pretend Play Stuff like pots & pans for kitchen play, cash register (this one is huge with all my kids), play money, etc.
Board Games
Remote Control Truck (it's her brothers but she uses it alot)
Clothes, Pajamas, Slippers
Jewelry
If she really has everything. You can always get a gift certificate to Target or movie passes.
A lot of websites like Amazon.com have gift guides by age and gender, you can try that for ideas.
She won't know what a Savings Bond is. Don't do it.

Magazine subscription? (Ladybug or Click are good for that age group).
Art supplies/ crafts
One of those beginner wristwatches that show the minutes in small type (e.g. 20 next to the 4)
Books or board games (ask the parent for suggestions so you don't duplicate what they have)
Bath supplies (tablets that color the water, bubble bath, etc.)
Good luck!

You could give her a card that has money in it and let her pick her own gift. Gift cards always work well too!

Probably a Brat doll or Barbie. They like play makup and dress up dresses. I know a 4 year old who is able to do Webkinz. They are stuffed animals that you get then they have a virtual world online. Just enter their secret code and get them online. You need an user name and password that is secret. Do not share your secret code with anyone because it is confidential.
