I saw a guy walking on the beach the other day that said " I didn't come from a monkey"
I was embarrassed for him

We are primates.

Koko, when given the news that her kitten, All Ball, had died, was asked by Dr. Francine Pattersen if she understood what this meant. Koko signed something to the effect of, "All Ball go away. Long sleep, good-bye," and then wailed with grief.

This shows thought and reasoning, and the ability to feel emotion.

Also, in a show about intelligent animals which I saw on TV a few years ago, different animals were placed near mirrors to see if they were capable of recognizing themselves.

None of the animals did until a lowland gorilla was handed a mirror. Looking at her reflection, she saw that the gorilla in the mirror had a red sticky dot on its head. Rather than attempt to remove the sticker from the gorilla in the mirror, she reached up and removed the dot from her own forehead.

Again, this showed thought and the ability to reason.

Aaron, there are like, 8 missing links. Of course we came from the same lineage that produced the great apes. Anything else is just wishful thinking, which there is a lot of when it comes to religion.

Liv E. We ARE all related. We all descended from the same common ancestor(s)

I agree with Alia...we are all primates, that's a fact, and we do not come from monkeys as some Creationists, and sadly enough, some Atheists think as well. We all come from a common ancestor. I love apes, they remind me a lot of us...same basic facial structure, we even have some cultural similarities, we take care of our young, old, and sick. We help each other, and all that. IT could be their instinct, but isn't it just the same for us as well? Who knows?

Without a doubt, we are primates, sharing a common ancestor with the apes.

How perfect the ape, living in harmony
and being content with nature.
It seems we have it backwards in the veiw of evolution that the apes came first.

First off if you want to believe the stupied idiots who started that go ahead. "As for me and my house we shall serve the Lord" How can you believe that stupied stuff. All your doing is believing what a man said and not what God said. Pick you up AV 1611 KJV Bible and you will learn the truth. If you are unsaved you need to be saved. Christ came into the world to save sinners. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe with thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.

Yes we are primates, that is a given. We are cousins to apes...we did not descend from monkeys like some morons like to say that we believe.

No. We are not primates. There is a thing called the missing link. The final stage between ape and man. Evolution can't be proven. It's a ridiculous theory created so man doesn't have to be accountable to God for their sin.
