Now why would you turn a perfectly good coffee mug into tea cup?? you put tea in a cup, and coffee in a mug. Lordy, people can't leave well enough alone, always changing or fixing things. It is what it is. (LOL) Thanks for the laugh!!! I like people with a good sense of humor a make me laugh on here, silly questions and answers. Peace.

It's certainly not a teacup. Is a wineglass still a wineglass if it's holding water?

I think the name refers to the size rather than the contents.

yea, it doesn't change just because you put some different liquid in it. it will and always be a coffee mug. Sometimes I put soup in my coffeemug
