What are some clues to look for when trying to figure if a girl is single or not?
Ladies... any help would be appreciated. How do you know if a girl is single or not before you approach them. Do women give off suttle clues or anything?

Well, unless she has a ring on her left hand, there's no real way to tell if she doesn't want you to know. Chances are, if she's looking around and checking out guys, she's probably single.
However, it's not always the case. The best thing to do is ask her, or someone who knows her really well. Perhaps even a friend she's hanging with.
Think of it this way, do guys really give off clues? Not really. They could just be looking to cheat, or looking to have a good time, but they may be taken. Same with girls.
If you don't want to ask her straight out, try dropping little questions that will answer it for you.

Asking wont tell you anything, We are just like men. We tell you what we want you to know. I have been married, I have a boyfriend , & Been single all in the same night. SO Ask, It depends on what kinda mood we are in. I have been single and said I was married, I have been married and said I was single, I have had a boyfriend and claimed to be married. I have had a boyfriend and claimed to be single. We are gonna tell you what we want you do know. In a few days you may find out if it was a lie then again you may never know. Point is we tell you what we want you to know.

The first thing you do if you are trying to figure out if a girl is single, is make eye contact. Smile at her when she sees you. If she smiles back, thats the green light to approach her. Make small talk at first. You dont want to throw a lot at her at first, you'll seem desperate or over anxious. Women dont like that, most of the time. As casual conversation runs its course, you'll know if she's single or not.

Well single is a relative term....A girl might be taken but not happily taken and in that case completely single...If she's caught checking you out that's a dead give away that you have a chance. If she flirts with you, you've got an in-road take it. A girl that's happily taken will not look and will mention her man frequently.

Look for a ring. Or just go up and start talking. If she doesn't mention a boyfriend, then just ask her. It's not rejection if you are a friendly guy. If you are out to get laid, then we will know and you will get shot down by all the girls except the nasty ones.

There are no such clues, other than seeing her with her man, or hearing her talk about being in a relationship, or noticing a ring on her finger, you will never know for sure.
You have to ask her or someone who knows her if you want to know if she's single.

Unless they have a wedding ring, you can not tell unless you ask them....we do not wear signs that say we are single, we like to keep you guys guessing!

Best bet is to either ask them, or when you ask them out they'll let you know if they aren't available.
Otherwise, there's really no sure way to tell, other than the engagement/wedding ring thing.
