Why there are so many trolls in the Nascar section? Regardless of what these trolls say the Nascar fans here remain with their respect and class even when trolls bash the Nascar sport. Which I believe is a great reflection of why Nascar is what is today. I am a Nascar fan and always will be I love it and truly do appreciate the respect given from all the other fans and I'm glad I can come here and talk with other Nascar fans as well. Thank you race fans!!!!

OR yahoo board moderator...its odd that you have nothing better to do than bash a sport on a message board during lunch shifts and down time as you take no break from doing it.

I agree, the NASCAR section seems to be a target, but they are every where. I'll be honest the sections that ignore them, i.e. don't answer their questions (even just to say "2 pts") and report any abuse are the ones that have the fewest trolls. It's really easy to be belligerent from behind a computer screen. These people are the sad ones, not us racing fans.
I keep coming back here because I love racing and the regulars here are all pretty nice and we respect each other. We can ignore the haters and keep talking about racing!
Broncosox, for some reason, the R&S section holds "raids" on other sections. We got picked yesterday. I'm not sure why bombarding another section with stupid questions is fun, but they think it is. Imagine being so disinterested in the section you've choosen to typically hang out that you behave like that? I'm with you, they suck hard, but they aren't nearly as bad as the ones that won't leave.

Every section on Yahoo has trolls. Nascar trolls remind me of girlfriends and house wives who do not "get" football. Like the ladies say "grown men chasing a ball" the Nascar trolls are equally showing their ignorance when they say "it's just turning left". The trolls have the attention span of a gnat and are not interested in the team sport that makes up the races. They don't see the engineering of chassis, wind tunnel testing, the importance of the pit crews, the logistics of making trips from Fontana one week and being in Pocono the next week while the drivers are going from one state to another to a Busch race on Saturday and another state to the Cup race on Sunday. We know this is a team sport and love Nascar and the trolls would rather do the lazy thing and bash Nascar fans rather than take the time to understand the big picture. I wish they would just go away but I'd rather they take the time to understand motorsports before they decide we are all a bunch of southern trailer trash rednecks with no teeth.

Nascar, religion are the biggies it seems. I did like it here but Iam getting somewhat bummed. Yahoo could do something, maybe we should come up with a solution, pass it around give it to yahoo daily and see what happens.

You know, it would be so easy for yahoo to deal with these losers, and that is to block their IP's. I created my own message board just so I would have the power to ban IP's, while at the same time provide people with a nice place to go to discuss racing. I even made a section that you can flame and bash all you want, but do it outside of that area....and you are gone for life.

I also don't understand why the people from religion and spirituality section came over here yesterday and went crazy on the NASCAR section. It's not like we're atheists here!
Religion and Spirituality is good. The Yahoo Answers Religion and Spirituality SECTION sucks hard.

What's rather odd, the trolls who try and ruin every place they invade, have knowledge on the subject posted, yet degrade/insult/etc.,/etc., everyone and everything that has anything to do with said subject.
It would appear the trolls need read up on what 'double standards' are about. They would find out that they resemble the very meaning of ppl living by double standards. And to think they have the nerve degrade/insult,etc.,/etc., ppl sincere to the subject.

The answer is simple...We keep answering their posts.."taking the bait" as the keep putting in their posts. They are openly "clowning" us and laughing at us for continuing to answer. WE HAVE TO STOP...ALL OF US! I am just as guilty for acting on the impulse to defend our sport, but honestly, it doesn't need defending to them. I have basically stopped answering question from most people on here that I don't know. Especially if they have a recent date on their id!

Because they are bored, and have nothing better to do than to harass others for their enjoyment. Many are still off for the summer and have nothing better to do.\
They are easily compared to Taggers. Show no respect for others, and do what they please no matter who the offend.
The more you argue with them, the happier and more pleased they are. As our "Yahoo Moderator Troll" say, she loves the attention. positive and negtive.
