what about the curse of ham ? brown ppl are cursed

what about women ?

"The absence of either salvation or condemnation for women finds extensive support in the Word of God." He reported. "Jesus said that the sole reason God created women in the first place was to provide company and service to men (1 Corinthians 11:9), God determined that men would be lonely living alone, so he created women purely to keep men company and serve their needs (Genesis 2:18-22). Women are therefore completely subordinate to men (1 Corinthians 11:3). It stands to reason, though, that once men enter the Kingdom of Heaven, they will be one with God, and will no longer be lonely and in need of mortal companionship. Thus, the reason behind having women will no longer exist. Women, like the members of the animal kingdom, will fall by the wayside."

You have it completely backward. You quote scripture, which was written by men to support a patriachal system and protect their debauched and misguided intentions for the soul of MAN. And the words you are quoting are NOT the word of God. How arrogant of any mortal to attempt to use an extremely limited and limiting language to write "the word of God". There are no words to describe God. Who has seen God? Who has had a converstion (2 sides) with God?
NOONE EVER!!!!!
Jesus was just a man....he was simply jesus of Nazareth and there is NO record of him ever declaring himself as anything other than than. He was not buried, so therefore did NOT rise from the dead, because crucifiction was the lowest, basest form of dying, while burial was the premise of the rich the nobles, the kings and rulers.
You either forgot or are in ignorance of the fact, that statistically men are a dying breed. The numbers of male live births are the lowest in the history of the world. Women generally have very little use for them. I suggest you face reality and realise that your demise as a gender is imminent.
God created women, not only because he knew that men would starve to death, and never change their underwear if he didn't, but it was the only hope for continuity of the races and of the Mother Earth, and for some degree of sanity.

Anyone that has read and understood the Bible, is fully aware that it goes beyond skin color...to say it is a religion for a certain skin color shows ignorance of what the Bible really says about God.
As far as women, you have taken a few verses and made them look like they say something else. Women were held in high regard. Subordinate? In no way! The Bible makes a distinction of ROLES. There ARE God-ordained roles, to overlook this fact is to miss a lot of understandings. While a husband may be the head of the woman, you cannot ignore the other verses that talk about a man loving his wife as Christ loved the church.
You have to read the WHOLE to understand the parts. To do otherwise is to be unbalanced theologically.

Some like to think so. Misinterpreted again! These are the ones be it man or woman that fall by the wayside. A woman is a perfect gift. Why She reproduces. Man is to care for her as God cares for the Church. God made the first man but the women have been delivering men since then so they are free. Slaves I think not. The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.Yet we listen to our male counterpart. Satan knows if we be lifted up as Christian women. God will draw more men unto him. God's word promotes the women but since men or blinded by their thoughts of superiority they can not see it. We are considered help mates.Because God made us to see and discern things that few men notice. That is why we are persecuted by divorce, abuse physically and mentally by men of the world to hold us down. We do not teach God yet we fill the Churches seats the more.Looking for God! When Jesus was in the tomb.Matthew 28:1-10..Who? came looking for him first; two women. They went and told the men. Did they believe them?
The Samaritan woman. Jesus told her all that she had done. The disciples got tied up in knots because Jesus was speaking to a samaritian woman! She ran to town leaven her pots behind. She literally forgot what she was doing.(Drawing water) to tell what Jesus told her. What did the people say to her we heard your story .But now we believe because we heard it for ourselves. John 4:42.

Such Biblical obtuseness. There is no curse of Ham, the curse was on Canaan. That was a lie put out by the Mormon church, not Christianity.

The Corinthian verses deal with order of authority and responsibility. Of course, you conveniently ignored the verses where husbands were admonished to love their wives as Christ loves the Church. White mans religion? Uhh, where did it begin? Jerusalem, among the Jews. At one time, most of what we know to be Muslim countries were Christian. Women are spoken of highly in the Bible. They are shown more respect and honor than any other faith. In Christ, there are no earthly distinctions.

Gal 3:28 There cannot be Jew nor Greek, there is no slave nor freeman, there is no male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Some of what I am going to say has already been said.

LBC are crackpots, I read articles occasionally that they publish like that. Look at the ads on the page. They are all insane. I am not sure, but part of me thinks it still is a hoax website, but I am not positive.

The Saving Grace of Jesus Christ was meant for ALL, that means no exceptions. There is no favoritism in any race or sex.

Never have I seen such insane doctrine since I picked up a Scientology book or the Book of Mormon. I will save that for a later date.

They might as well narrow it down to hair color and eyes!!!

Skin color or gender is not a requirement to serve God. The Bible doesn't make any distinctions. But there is a difference in authority. You can figure that one out. We are all under the authority of Christ. All people come to God equally. Jesus showed great favor to women demonstrating how we are to treat each other. If you could only get past the part of man that see see and into the spiritual part, you'd see that we all need God regardless of skin or gender. And this is what attracts all of us.

first off I have to laugh at the site you put a connection to...obviously that is total bunk....

Submission to men is highly misunderstood by many...It can be a very powerful thing..the man is supposed to be the spiritual "leader" of the household..he is also supposed to love and respect his wife as Christ loves the church..which is pretty powerful..The Christian religion is not sexist, the first people to discover that Jesus was not in the tomb were women..the fact that this is recorded historically in all accounts of the new testament, speaks volumes...women were definitely second class citizens during that time, in fact the word of a woman was pretty much worthless..the fact that they decided to leave that it was the women who found the empty tomb shows that they were respected and not considered to be second class citizens by the authors of the Bible..Also Esther, saved a nation..saved the Jewish people..there were many great women noted in the Bible..because obviously God loves men AND women..

I am not familiar with the curse of Ham so I am not ignoring that, I just am not going to write about a topic I am not familiar with...However, Jesus was Jewish so he wasn't exactly white..being that he was from the middle east, and it says to Love EVERYONE in the Bible because God loves everyone so I would believe that to also include minorities..God doesn't see the color of the skin as far as I am concerned..he sees the soul.

No. It is not a white man's religion.

Read on for one In Genesis, 2:24, So a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two will become one body.

Woman was created as a COMPANION to the man. You must have missed that little detail.

Jesus did not curse ham or brown people. If you know anything about Jesus, know at the very least this one. He taught that there is no difference between man or woman, Jewish, Roman, or Greek.
As for ham, He taught it is not what goes into the mouth that is important, it is what comes out of it.

White!!! Are you saying Jesus was white! sorry man. wrong again. He was Jewish, and they are not white as far as I know.

Your first mistake was to quote from that particular website. They always interpret scripture the same way as the Westboro Baptist Church, from a context of hate and disrespect for others.

The "Curse of Ham" has nothing to do with "brown people", nor was it "Ham" whom was cursed; it was in fact "Canaan". No, Christianity is not a "white man's religion". Read the third chapter of John again, it clearly says that Jesus the Christ died and was raised, for the forgiveness of sins -- of WHOSOEVER beliefs in Him. That means He (Jesus the Christ) shed His blood for all people, no matter the color of their skin; all that is required is 'faith' in The Christ --- Jesus of Nazareth.

The term "Christian" was first used in the Bible (Acts chapter 11 and 1 Peter chapter 4), when Paul and other (Jews) were in Antioch. Until that point they were known as members of "The Way", which at that time was a sect of Judaism. As a matter of fact, there was a point in time when Christianity was also a sect of Judaism.

The only way to really understand a verse in the bible is to read the 10 versus that come before it and the 10 versus that come after it. That allows you to study the whole context of the verse and not to take things away that are not meant to be taken. God created lines of authority in order for the world he created to function properly. Although there needs to be lines of authority even in marriage there should not be lines of superiority. God created men and women with unique and complimentary characteristics. One sex is not better than the other. We should use our unique gifts to glorify God. Basically you can't have to rulers in a household. One is going to have to have the ultimate say. Oh-well come on Atheist you have to admit there is some truth in what the word of God is saying here. I find a sense of comfort in a man that knows how to shoulder responsibility and take spiritual and financial care of his family. I don't know to me that's the measure of a man.
