Unfortunately there isn't much you can do, other then to wait for the cold to pass. But you can try eating food with stronger flavors, like possibly Mexican food. They have a lot of different spices that your taste buds may pick up on. Most of your taste comes from smell... but its worth a shot.

The cold will have to go away before you get your sense of taste back. If you still have a the cold for a few more days, make sure to go to your doctor to make sure it's not dangerous.

There are quite a few people that take immune system boosters to fight a cold like Elderberry, Echinacea (which should only be used short-term), Goldenseal, Oregano, or even simple antioxidants (like vitamin C).
There are also things that help for the sinus health like Bromelain, for example... but more people tend to use those to prevent sinus trouble than taking it after they get a cold.
As far as bringing your taste back, that will happen once your sinuses clear. It seems kind of weird, but your sense of taste has a pretty big connection with your sense of smell. There are even some dieting techniques I've heard of that use aroma sprays to put on bland foods (like rice cakes), and when you smell the "good food aroma" while you eat the food, and the food actually tastes like the aroma on it.

When the cold is gone, you will get your taste back. It's normal. But have you seen a doctor yet about the cold?

Keep your nose clear for your sense of taste. It will come back when you are over your cold.

You lost your taste most likely because your nose is stopped-up. If you can take a decongestant that will dry up your nose and sinuses, most likely your taste will return. Taste is dependent on the sinuses being clear, not just the tongue.

the only thing that I know of would be to treat the cold with cold medicine. when you are sick you generally don't taste things as well because your nose and tongue work together to make you taste. you could shoot saline solution up your nose to clear it, my mom swears by it!!

Have you tried taking colloidal silver? It will help boost your immune system, there are no side effects, and it is tasteless. If it is a cold you have, this will speed up the process of healing time. My whole family takes it, and we hardly ever get colds, and if we do they only stick around for a day or so.
