I guess I should have clarified that this is what my co-worker was doing. I thought to myself it was a pointless process seeing how he scarfed down three slices.

Every gram of fat you are able to suck up with a napkin equals 9 fat calories. I'd guess you'll get about 18 - 27 calories off by blotting. If you consistently blotted your pizza and other greasy food products, you might lose a pound or two in a year. You should invent the blotter's diet. Could be the next big thing!

Not enough to make a big difference. It couldnt hurt because the grease is one of the biggest offenders. Instead of the usual pizza toppings, try adding vegetables instead of the usual pepperoni and sausage. Dont say yuck-but my favorite is artichoke hearts. Choose a vegetable you really like.

Yes, in the same way ordering a large double quarter-pounder with cheese and a diet coke makes a difference. If you're concerned about saving 23 calories here and 19 calories there, maybe you should rethink buying greasy pizza.

I don't know, but I'm going to do it anyway cuz I can't stand the grease. Too messy, not tasty and I don't think it would be terribly healthy.
