Jesus Christ: King of kings, Lord of Lords.

God is the God of His own name. There is only one God.

In the book of Isaiah 54:5 He is called The God of the whole earth. In Isaiah 48:12-13 He tells us that He IS (I am He), that He is the First and the Last, and that He is the creator of the heavens and the earth. In Isaiah 46:9 He tells us that He is God alone and there are no others.

In the book of Revelation 1:8, 11 He is again called The Beginning and The Ending, The First and The Last. In Revelation 19:11-16 His name is called "The Word of God" and also "KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS". In John 1:1-5, 9-14 we see that the Word of God is God and that He is the One who created all things. That Word was made flesh and dwelt among us as the only begotten of the Father. This is speaking of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah prophesied about Him in Isaiah 9:6-7 saying that a child would be born and his name would be called ..... "the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father." Also, in Isaiah 7:20-23 it is told that a virgin would give birth to a son and that His name would be called Immanuel. We see the fulfillment of this in Matthew 1:20-23 and that Immanuel is translated as "God with us". Again in John, Jesus states that He and the Father are one in the same (John 12:44-50, 14:1-11).

Finally, we read in Philippians 2:5-11 that Jesus is equal with God and that His name is above every name, and that at the name of Jesus EVERY knee in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth should bow and confess the Jesus Christ is Lord.

The Word of God is very clear that there is only one God who was, who is, and who is to come. Only one God who is the The Beginning and The Ending, The First and The Last, The Creator of all the universe. He is the God of God's name. Only ONE GOD, not three (as some believe), not 10, not 100, only 1.

What is name for?
A name is to distinguish one among others, when there is no other God then what is the use of names to call upon God, we can call Him with whatever name we feel is not blasphemy, nor is an image of anything.

Of that God there is no Pratima, ( no likeness, no image, no picture, no sculpture, no statue). Hindus book Yajurveda ch32 v3
Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, (even the son/father thing) or that is in the water under the earth.(Jewish book) Exo 20:4
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to the corruptible man, (son/father thing) and to birds, and four footed beast, and creeping things........(Christians book) Rom 1:22-28.
Say God is one and only, God the Eternal Absolute, He begets not nor is He begotten, (son/father thing) and there is none like unto Him.(Islamic book) Al Ikhlass112

Elohim as Moses
Eli Eli as Jesus
Allah as Muhammad
or my God my God in English.

God says in the Qur,aan :- Muslims, Jews, Christians, Sabe ens, whoever believes in THE GOD (without image), and the last day, (of judgement) and do right deeds, they have their rewards (waiting) and they will have no fear nor they will be sad.

There is only one god, God. That is the name of his position.
His name begins with a Y. But I won't put it here in case someone wants to start putting it in vain.

Are you a Mormon? Because I know they believe in many gods. Or are you asking that old question, if God is our god, who is His god? Don't really understand the question.

Solly, with respect then we really should just use man and woman for any Hebrew name mentioned in the old Testament because the same rule applied to all of them. Moses? David? Jeremiah? Isaiah? Rahab? Naomi?

Of course, everyone knows the founding father of the universe!

Of course, the guy who invented him has been long dead now... I think his name was Jim Beam.
