my sister is wanting to start a business in promoting better health through excerise. It would be a place for everyone. we are wanting your ideas of what you as a customer would like to see in this type of setting.
this would be for all - not just women
would do you think as far as memebership prices, monthly fees without a signed contract meaning if you dont want to go for the month you dont pay. family memeberships.any thing that you would look for and make you say hey this is the place I want to try.
Please give all opinions on what you think is good or bad?
She really wants a place for everyone to have a better lifstyle.

Have a separate area for women, and or people that are overweight. A lot of people that are overweight are VERY self-conscience of working out in the same area as people that are already in shape. Don't charge ridiculous fees. I think $20 a month is plenty for a gym. Have a indoor lap pool. Pools are great for everyone, especially people just getting into an exercise program, and pregnant women. Have pregnancy exercise classes, like pilates, yoga, etc, and have nutritionists that know about all the dangers of certain foods during pregnancy, like why it is important to make sure that all dairy and juices are pasteurized.
