I recently met this guy, he is 22 and I'm 30. He is a really nice guy, however, he is really young. I went on a date with him yesterday and he seems to be mature and turned out to be a total gentleman! Now I'm kinda weirded out, because I would like to go out with him again...should I continue dating him or should I jsut stop while I'm ahead???

If you don't go out with him again you will regret it because he could be the one. When i first went out with my husband he just turned 19 and i was 25 i couldn't help myself he was so good looking. I wasn't the only one eyeing him up so i made my move on him. If i would have let age get in the way i wouldn't have my son and a husband that is still drop dead gorgeous.

Miss Yellow, I f he is a mature gentleman what is the problem ? Age means nothing as long as it is over 18. When I was younger an older lady was a dream come true ! Actually even at 47 it still would be !

What happens when your 40 and he's 32 or when your 50, he is 32, Will he bring up the fact that your age matters and he goes off with someone younger? What if he's 30 and meets someone who's 22? It is something to think about. Age may not matter so much now but it may matter later.

I would say in the end, go with your gut, he seems like a nice guy to me, a gentleman in this day and age? Unheard of, but it may be a trend coming back.

In the meantime, I think it's not chronological age that's a factor because I've dated younger men who were older souls and older men who haven't grown up, so it's a crap shoot either way.

Play it by ear, see how it goes.

If you like eachother and he's as mature as you say he is, I say go for it! 22 to 30 isn't that big of a gap. A lot of guys date girls way younger than that. Some people might raise an eyebrow, but they're just close-minded.

Like I have said so many times, love does not have any age limitations nor does the attraction of people one to another. The age restrictions are levied by the society to a point that they want to control society in a particular manner and age is one they have a hard time with as it conflicts with nature. They cannot control nature but inevitably try to control those of society by placing accepted norms enforced by laws for people. I think that it is wonderful and see nothing wrong with it at all. If you care what society thinks then you could ask them but personally I don't think society has a clue as to right and wrong but only what they can control.

GIRL!! Listen..I am 34 y.o. Professional....I have dated an older man for over five years..You wanna talk immature...Older men are like going back to their second childhood or something and going through that mid life crisis thing....You go out with your 22 y.o and be damned proud to do it. There is not one thing wrong with it...I have found that younger men are actually way more mature than the older ones...........

Go out with him. Some guys are really mature. Just make sure you ask him questions to ensure he is at the same point in life you are. Depending on what stage you are in life....Is he still into partying?? Are you ready to have kids and settle down?? Is he?? All these questions before you take it to the next step.

Nah I dated a woman who was a little older then you when I was 23, (a gentlemen never reveals or asks a ladies age) Any how it was the best time of my life. Unless your looking to settle up why not just enjoy the time you spend together...

As long as it's not too much older it's fine. The girl I like is turning 18 in two months and I'm turning 17 in four.
