It doesn't freak me out but anything minor like this that someone makes a big deal of is a little annoying. Many people seem intent on sabotaging their own relationships over meaningless things because they can't resist dreaming up imaginary hidden meanings for them.

Freak out is a bit strong, but it makes you wonder why a girl would so desperately want to meet my family.

Not really I am usally more afraid of her meeting my family because they are crazy. I don't mind meeting her family because moms love me, and dads feel like I am the son they never had.
Ok but serouisly if you have apperhension about meeting your guys family, just remember one thing if you like him odds are your gonna like his family (assuming he does) because most good familys raise good people, and well if your dating a good guy, odds are his family will take you in and make you there own.
nothing to be afraid of unless your afraid of commiting to your man. and thats an entirely different question.
