Hi!
I was wondering what are some good sports for a 13 year old girl to do in order to stay healthy and in shape?
It's just that she recently quit ballet, because of a hectic schedule and I wanted to know if there are some good sports that she can do that don't require too much time during the week, in order to stay in shape!

Something like everyday sports, some things beside running preferably.

I would definitely recommend cross- country. Practices are only about an hour a day during the school week except Friday. You compete in running about 3 miles.

umm i like to computer screen soccer. And any interest my son is a collection member on! LOL play... umm I ought to pass with the lame activities like Betty. i'm no longer very athletic. Does Air hockey count variety? LOL

Basketball will make you in the best shape of your life, it works every single part of your body, your legs will be sculpted!! incredible results, and its lots of fun to play!! have fun!
