"Had you rather die believing there was a God and be right,or die believing there was no God and be wrong. Think about it"
You think about this:
There are many different religions in the world. Surely it would be better to die believing in NO God than the WRONG God!

"Jesus teaches Love one another , forgiveness, and a moral life, what is bad about that?"
Nothing is wrong with that, but my parents taught me that, not Jesus.

Those who believe in God have all the evidence we need in the Bible. We have faith to know that it is real. Sadly, this is a concept that those without the Holy Spirit in them cannot grasp. That's why they see it as something to "buy into".
Gwydyon wrote, "...because they are afraid of that which they do not understand. Religion is a quick fix that gives hope to those who are too afraid to wait for science to figure it out."
Gwydyon, you actually have it backwards. We understand God and the Bible, so we have nothing to fear. Why do *some* non-believers think we are afraid....Is it perhaps because THEY are actually the ones who are afraid of what we understand? (Think about it.)

Why do you say there is no evidence to back it up?? you're here, (with a soul). The Bible is here. Read it. Some of the things that were prophesied have come to pass and besides
Had you rather die believing there was a God and be right,or die believing there was no God and be wrong. Think about it.

"religion" Jesus spoke against religious people all the time, I follow Jesus Teachings and Gods word.
it's a relationship with God thru Jesus not religious tradition.
Jesus teaches Love one another , forgiveness, and a moral life, what is bad about that?
if people could understand that they would get to know God for themselves instead of forming opinions about him.

religions, especially christianity, have people on TV 'selling god'. I mean they are preaching that "send me money, and god's on your good side". certain religions can trick you with this simple, yet effective excuse.
god answers in yes, no and wait. meaning if something good happens in your life, thank god cause he did it. if something bad happens, pray to him and keep waiting, maybe you are doing something wrong. wait is just that nothing good has happened in your life that "god" didn't do.
it is sad, but runs the mechanism of religion.
and it recruits everyday

"not a trace of evidence" is about as convincing as me hearing the cookie jar crash in the next room, walking in and seeing my son grubbed down with chocolate, hearing him say "you didn't see me do it."
Just because I'm not in the same room doesn't mean I can't examine the evidence around me and draw a conclusion.
Of course...were we disagree on is what constitutes "evidence". Perhaps one should try to read some suggested titles?

because some people have faith, and do believe in their religion. why do you not? it can go both ways, but as long as a religious person isn't doing anything to you(pushing their religion on you) then it really is none of your business

Many people are brainwashed before they are presented with the facts. So it's a "too late" issue with them.
Other people are motivated more by emotional reasons rather than logical reasons. So it's a "whatever feels right" issue with them.

Because I want to...and the evidence is my life and the miracles and things God has done for me..you don't have to like it..you don't have to 'buy into it' so frankly don't worry about us..worry about yourself..that's what I do.
