Hallo,
I just bought a fiberglass skim board off of the internet, my last resort - I live nowhere near a coast, and of course, it came with a crack/gouge on the bottom.

I really don't feel like sending it back to California because it will take 20 years to get back. Is there any effective way to seal that crack so the foam/fiberglass in the skim board doesn't break down?

My friend has boat epoxy which is probably as strong as Chuck Norris's arm, would that be good if i just coated it along the bottom of the board?

Thanks

I'd contact the company where you bought it and find out how long it would take to get it exchanged. Yeah, it'll take some time, but you'll probably be happier than if you try to fix it yourself.

Only if you can't exchange it or if it'll take a month or two do do it would I try fixing it yourself. The reason is that if you exchange it, you'll probably be happier with the board in the long run than if you tried to fix it, but goober it up.
