I woke up naked in her apartment one morning after a party and had to wake her up to ask if she knew where my pants were.

After finding my pants, she made us breakfast, we sat and talked for a couple hours, and it went from there. That was two and a half years ago and we're still together.

I met my boyfriend of nearly two years when I was least expecting it as well...We had a mutual friend--my cousin--and she had a crush on him. When he didn't return her feelings, she told me he said and did some really horrible things to her...I am very protective of my friends, particularly someone like her who has been picked on about her size most of her life, and has self-confidence of 0. I engaged him in many online conversations, and was pretty much hell bent on destroying him. When I had realized that he wasn't at all like what my cousin had told me, and that he would have made a good friend, she admitted to me that she had lied about everything. By then I thought it was too late to make amends. I was fourteen, almost fifteen at the time, and he was seventeen, so nothing romantic was on the horizon then. My messenger died unexpectedly, and didn't retun till about a year later, which was a good thing. I had some bad influences, and needed to get away from them, and become myself. One day the messenger popped up, and he was online, so I messaged him and apologized, something I wouldn't normally do. I'd feel guilty, yes, but not usually apologize after so long. He accepted and we started talking, quickly becoming friends. Not too long after that he helped me through a really difficult time when our mutal friend, another cousin of mine, and two aunts betrayed me and my family, something that still has my family on opposite ends today. I had been seeing someone for the past two and a half years, and he had seen a few people...I at first couldn't admit how I felt about him, partly because that would have meant breaking up with my semi-boyfriend at the time...He was a sweet guy, but I didn't love him...I could never decide yes or no on that until I KNEW I was falling for my current boyfriend. I broke up with him, a while later told my friend how I felt, and to my surprise he returned my feelings =) We've been together ever since.

I was working at a restaurant and this guy I liked would always come in on his lunch hour. Two years ago on Valentine's Day I got him sort of an almost dirty card, but I was working and then I had class right away so I asked my friend to drop by his office and give him the card. Only I didnt find out until later she knew his favorite sweet was chocolate covered strawberries and she bought him some and told him they were from me. The next day he sent me an email and asked me out! On our date he said that I bought the strawberries so he would pay for dinner and I had no clue what he was talking about! We have been dating for 2 years now and are engaged! Only a year after together did I ask him what the whole strawberry thing was about! I felt so stupid lol!
