Well... I'm Vietnamese and the girl I like is hispanic. We never talk to each other, but see each other on the same bus about 3 times a week for almost a year now. I'm afraid to look at her because I don't want to look separate and stare at her because she's just beautiful. I want to talk to her but I don't want to make a mistake, like they say first impression is everything. Most hispanic probably like to date their own kind. I just want to know what are my chances with her?

All I can say is if you really like this girl then you need to talk to her and see where it goes. Everyone is afraid of messing up. Try and become her Friend first and then if you feel there is an attraction there go for it. You won't know until you try. The only person that knows what your chances are is her. Why don't you take a chance on her and get to know her better. And if she only dates Hispanic guys then that's her loss. But by the way you talk about her I would say that your chances are good. : )

You are way past first impressions! Just get the nerve up and talk to her! Sit next to her or behind her. Get on the bus and hand her a flower! Do something! You've waited to long already, act on it or you will never know if will work or not!!! Hope your dreams come true!

Dude, just be yourself and go up to her and ask her name, and her age and as your conversation goes on she'll give you a hint wether she wants to continue it or no, the worst she can do is say "well, i'll talk to you later" and then you can come up with something else, but trying has never hurt anyone, and i dont think you should take the "race" stuff too serious, because people don't really care.
but yes, indeed. first impression is very imprtant, be sweet, be cool, be yourself.

Sweetie, It has nothing to do with race. Her being beautiful and very attrictive to you is a women who wants people to respect her, understand her, and love her for who she is, very much like yourself. So at the rate your going now- your chances are very slim. If you want them greater, you need to start talking to her and getting to know her. A Hello is a great beginning, maybe offer some gum, or ask whats shes reading and tell her its a great book. U Probably know about her alittle . if she get's mad fast or not , she could be a positive kind girl . if u know she gets mad fast then take care . that could screw u up . if she is sad in a day or so , try speaking with her . but if she got a friend beside her siting . then her friend could tell u to shut up !!! .
If she is normal or so , just try ur luck !! speak to her carefuly and take all that in mind !! .

to think that most hispanics date their 'own kind', is stupid. I am hispanic and have never dated 'my own kind'. your chances seem pretty low if you can't muster up the courage to talk to her. I know it seems super hard, i am also very shy, but just say hi, ask her name if you don't know it already..you won't know until you try..good luck.

at least say GOOD MORNING to her then you can find your chances with this girl!
the best thing to do is to start slowly..
start with a smile and if she smiles back then after a while you can say hi or good morning, and then after another while you can start a small conversation (e.g. about the weather!!)
and from then you can tell if she is the person you can date and if she would like to date a person from another country then hers.

Your chances are unknown because we don't know what she's attracted to. Why don't you talk to her and find out? You've got nothing to lose...if she's not interested you're no worse off than you are now. If she IS interested then, WOO HOO!
