You can't go wrong with SONY, No1 sales still worldwide. Very reliable! And with their new Motion Flow Technology to make movement smoother, they look fantastic.

Then I'd put SAMSUNG a close second.

Samsung make the panel for Sony LCDs anyway, so along with their bright screens, great viewing angles, high contrasts, and stylish looks, they too have a great product!

Sometimes it just comes down to which one you think looks the best, picture wise or design wise??

Toshiba also make a great panel. But recently I have been put off selling them because we have had so many come back with dead pixels! One customer tried 3 Toshiba 32" LCDs, all dead pixels, eventually switched to Sony, no problems! Note, had 37" and 42" ones back too! Bit of a shame, as I usually like them and have had good results in the past?

So hard to say which is better, but I would personally buy in this order: SONY, SAMSUNG, TOSHIBA

All the best.

I just bought a new LCD and I got a Toshiba and the picture quality is amazing. The set up was incredibly easy.

I went for it because I found a good deal on the internet and I love it and would recommend going with Toshiba.

You cannot beat Sony's technology....

But if you want either of those....CHECK your Yellow pages under Televisions -Service or Repair Category....
LOOK to see if any of your local shops is Samsung or Toshiba Authorized Services center....IF ONE of these TVs does NOT HAVE LOCAL SERVICERS....choose the one that does !!

That's real important to know you can get service on any TV.....

Both have it? Good...
Either one would be fine then......
