Issy V - Terrorism was the bait for public support of the Iraq War. This tactic was abandoned years ago. This question doesn't talk about what we're doing to them, or what "they" want to do to us. It's about what should have been obvious to us all, which was that democracy in Iraq is a futile endeavor and that nobody should have bought the notion. You're stuck in the fearmongering of 5 years ago.

We are in the middle of a religious war and no other type of a war. There has been warring in the middle east since biblical times and due to the many number of different religions there as long as people they their religion rules there will always be war there. Democracy? It will never work in a country where suicide bombers and religious factions see death as an honorable thing. The war in the middle east is no longer a republican or democrat problem. They need to come together and find a more appropriate solution and end the war. Also as long as we are so dependent on foreign oil they will always be able to hold that over our heads. I guess not too many people remember the gas crisis in the 80's when you had to wait in line for hours and get just a couple gallons of gas. The lives of American soldiers are much more important than the $$$$ made off gas. You cannot put a price on a life. Oh and one more thing. We all need to remember that newspapers and news stations on TV are a business for profit. If they told you the truth would you really want to see it?

That makes me feel like your an idiotic little punk. CNN is completely unreliable and they only ocus on bad thigns to tell the public. You are obviously either a democrat or a liberal. All i have to say is that maybe you should look at why we are over there. Don't just side with the democrats because you think that Republicans are stupid. Do yourself a favor and watch Fox News. Last time I checked CNN stood for Communist News Network. Pwned.
