Any company that asks you for money up front is not legitimate. They are making most of their cash off new sales recruits. Think about it this way... If you applied for a job at McDonald's, they would NEVER ask you to pay them for the opportunity to work there.

Most of the reponses you'll receive on here will be spam. The links they provide are almost always referral links, meaning THEY get paid if YOU sign up! Envelope stuffing will never be enough to pay the bills. Stay away from the survey sites too, as from what I've seen, are all scams that won't pay you.

If you really don't want to get a regular job, maybe you could sell on Ebay. I used to do this part-time selling overstocks and returns from various catalogs and retail companies. Amazon also allows you to list new/used items, and they charge no fee unless the item sells.

If you just want to make extra money, maybe you could clean homes (which actually pays very well), do lawn maintenance, student tutoring, or consider other creative opportunities.

Envelope stuffing is too much work for little pay. I got burned on surveys too! I don't know any on line jobs that are not scams. All the ones I've seen are scams! I do know a lot of people that have started up different home based business's and they make an incredible amount of income and have all the time in the world to do what they want. If you'd like some web sites to take a look at email me and I'd be happy to send them to you. But their not on line jobs. Just a suggestion for you there.
Good Luck!

I partnered with a company a year ago and have been very pleased with them. I love being able to work from home, Plus they are members of the BBB which was important to me with all the scams out there.

I don't have to Stock Inventory or sell products nor do I have to take orders, deliver anything or get stung with bad checks when making collections ... Did that in the past, NOT again!

If you want more information about them I would be happy to share. Just send me an email and let me know.

It just might give you the options you are looking for

You don't say how old you are, where you live, or what your qualifications are, among other things (disabilities? education? references? etc), so it's virtually impossible to help you.

However, assuming you are able to work, and aren't just being lazy (think about it; do you know how tedious stuffing envelopes can be? I did it for a local library of which I'm a volunteer; my hands were strewn with paper cuts!), there are many legitimate agencies out there who can help you get a real job.

Use your yellow pages (online or real) to look under "employment agencies (or services)" or contact your local unemployment office (you only need to be of legal working age to use the unemployment office; you do not need to have lost a job to use their services, most of which are free; for the record, though, I have been unemployed many times during my long career, and the unemployment offices in the many States I have lived in were of little use; however, if you don't have a computer or phone, it is a great resource, as they can help you create resumes and make legitimate contacts to employers; also, they can help you with your interviewing skills; it can't hurt to try!).

There is always the option of working with or starting your own home based business. This is what I have done. I'm the mother of 4, so childcare isn't an option (cost way to much!). I rep for several companies and own my own company, and I do just about all my sales online. All the companies I am with are free or low cost (under $13) to join.

If you are interested in this, I'd love to talk to you more about it. I look forward to hearing from you.

Good Luck!

Yes, most definitely online tutoring jobs. You can earn money from there while tutoring students online! And if you, yourself are a student, then it will even help you keep in touch with your studies. So it's a win-win, unlike some of the other online jobs.

I cringe everytime I see these types of questions.... Beware of FRAUD scams.....

I deal in fraud and so many people get caught up in rerouting scams and have no clue what they are doing is illegal..

Whatever you do --- Do not accept packages and reship them no matter how much they pay you or what bogus sob story they tell you --- All the items are stolen products and you can be arrested and held responsible for anything you accept.

Also, do not assist anyone with bank transfers or anything dealing with transferring money --- It's a scam and in the long run you get burned...
