Attach a small transmitter to their head which is in turn connected to their email. Each time they are emailed the transmitters will send a small shock wave through their cerebellum that will give them an intense pain. This will remind them everytime they are emailed that they f*cked with you.
Well, there is the far out version

My boss got a little annoyed with me when I missed a few of his emails and did not respond to some sensitive material. After a day or two, it came out that there were some issues with the corporate server and the emails arrived after that.

He was very honorable and apologized to me.

Check with your IT department before you act.

why do they not have the right to "not get' your email?
I delete a lot without opening it
sometimes I even elect not to answer a phone if I a otherwise occupied
and even in face to face conversation anyone has the right to ignore an undesired communication.
It amazes me that so many are so heavily indoctrinated into what other's "Should" do in living their personal lives

tell them that you have record in your "sent" folder and they must have overlooked it. if it's work related, i'd let them know to be careful that they don't miss important messages. if it's personal, then just don't bother email them again. i have a girlfriend who always "never" gets my emails when the truth is she just doesn't bother with it but strangely, makes me out to be the wrong one. so i just don't even bother anymore. now when she says she didn't get my emails, i tell her it's because i didn't send any to her.

I wouldn't be dumb enough to "punish" them thats for sure.

Their email provider could be bumping it away, or sticking into their junk filter, etc.

Stop sending them stupid spam.

Just don't e-mail them again. Punishment enough.

You have to forgive them over and over even if they don't choose your forgiveness - If you were a deity then you could give them a choice and condemn them if they didn't want it.
