I am taking my Lap top with me to tenerife because of the size this is my "cabin Bagage" I have to take with me my Battery charger does this go in my Hand luggage or hold luggage also will the same answer apply to my Phone charger

I also carry my chargers in the same pack as the laptop, and last travel I was searched more intensive, the laptop looked over carefully and so. But no problems with the wires and chargers in my bag.
You have to bring your laptop in your carry-on, safety rules!

I would take the chargers with you as hand luggage. You would be out of luck if your checked luggage got lost, or if your flight got delayed and your laptop or cell phone died.

Chargers should go in the hold luggage.
