try heating it up in the microwave on high for 10-15 seconds and don't put too much stuff inside it.

Well your soft taco shells might be too thick so you might want to try something a little thinner. But if you can't do that then dab them with a little water and put them in the microwave.

Avoid heating them, especially in the microwave. In my experience the more dried out they are, the more they crack.
Maybe spray them with Pam cooking spray lightly, something that will soften them but not add fat or flavor.
Also when you fold them over, try not to force them down too much. Instead just gently fold them over and secure with a toothpick.

Warm them in a pan on the stove with a little butter or oil rather than in the microwave. If they are cracking they are too dry so you may be trying to heat them too much or they may be stale.

You need to find the freshest tortillas you can......cracking is a sign that they're a little past fresh.....also, you can try my trick, steam them briefly and then slap all your taco fixings on it and give it a quick roll.....I think you'll have better luck.......you can also briefly (15 seconds) shallow fry them and drain them on paper towels and then proceed with your taco rolling........Enjoy!!!
