As long as there is no sex it's ok. And as far as sex it depends on your state. The majority of states have a legal age of consent that is 16 or lower. Since people always throw out wildly inaccurate information on this check the website below for ages of consent in different states.

Meaning he is 18 and has graduated or he is 18 a senior in high school while you are a sophomore. Age really doesn't matter after the age of 18. You date people because you like them due to have the same things in common, same interests, etc. If you start dating someone too old then you run into problems because the whole thing where you are at different stages in your life. So, 16 and 18 aren't that far apart. Until you turn 17 though do no engage in sex with him. Law states that after you reach the age of 17 and as long as he isn't more then 2 years older then there is nothing prohibiting you from sex. Good luck.

See, this is the screwy thing about age difference dating. Once you're 18 or older, it's okay. But if you're 16, you shouldn't date anyone over 17. I'm 21 and my boyfriend is about to turn 25. In my age group, that's acceptable. Now if I were 16 dating someone 4 years older, it's not okay. It's ridiculous if you ask me. But when I was 16 I was dating guys 18+. Do what you want, who cares what anyone thinks other than yourself, and the person you want to date.

The difference between 16 and 18 is statutory rape. That's not necessarily the "gift" you want to give your BF.
The difference between 26 and 28 is negligible.
Stick to boys your own age until you're over 21 at least.
And crack the books. Make good grades. Good grades will get you places a boyfriend can't - such as into a good college and on to a better job.

Well, when you're that young it matters. There are laws you have to go by until you're 18. I'm 25 and my boyfriend is 28. We're very happy together.

yes- when i was 15 I dated a guy who was 18 for over a year. It is ok-- but if you have sex then that is grounds for statutory rape- so just remember that
