If you adjust your eating habits a little bit, you will lose a little weight and stay there. If you're not overweight, you could probably drop a few pounds just by increasing your activity level a litlle bit and keeping it that way.

Even if you don't change anything else... drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. You should def. see some results soon.
You really have to sit down and think before you do anything.
a. how tall are you.
b. what's your body type.
c. what is your current body weight.
d. are your physical activities consistant. ( these are all factors that you need to take into consideration )
There are many ways to lose weight. - that being said... there are good ways and bad ways to diet. You should definately sit down with either your parents and/or your doctor to see first if there is a weight issue and to discuss what is best for you. We are all so different and there are so many different types of bodies out there.
I'm 21, and having reached my goal weight is a great reward. A few things that i would reccommend that don't really cost anything more, but are proven to keep the lbs off:
- drink 8-10 glasses of water again.
- eat the recommended fruit & vegg's (more of the veggies)
- watch your carbs, DON'T cut them... just be aware of them (trust me, this helps a lot)
-and excersize at least 4 days a week
Good Luck, Don't Stress. Definately fill in an adult that you're really close with, and just stay true to yourself. Don't lose weight to impress anyone else.... do it for YOU!!!!

You are not too young to diet but be very, very careful when you decide what "skinny" is.

Find out your "normal weight" based on your height and don't get down to more than 15% of that average.

For instance; if you are 5'5" and 125 lbs. now and you lost 15% of that it would be about 19 lbs., you'd then be 106 lbs. below that you'd getting into the unhealthfully skinny range.

There is no safe fast way to loose weight. Just get your calorie intake down to 2100 calories per day and less than 10-15 grams of fat (lower calories then that is unhealthy) and walk two miles a day before dinner.

You'll loose weight and not be doing anything unhealthy. a safe weight loss level is about 5 -7 lbs. per week, more is not goot good for your kidneys, blood nutrients or heart. Make sure you eat vegies and not just carbs and meats.

Well, By excercising a lot because if you stop eating or change your diet you won't see much of a different until after a couple of weeks. You need to burn around 3500 calories to drop a pound so just focus on toning up.

i for one never think anyone is to young to diet. really it depends on how much you weigh. im 15 and i weigh 113.5 and want to lose 5-10 pounds. so it all depends on you. now the fastest, cheapest, and easiest way to lose weight is to eat a lot of vegetebles, fruit, drink plenty of water, no kool-aid, no soda. jump rope every day for 30 min (burns a lot of calories in 1 hr!) or you could exercise by dancing to cha cha music now thats an excercise that burns a lot of calories. other ways are crunches, sit ups, walking every day, etc

If you don't consider yourself "heavy", why diet? If you "diet" you might be depriving yourself of valuable nutrients and once you quit "dieting", the pounds are likely to come back, especially if you are of a good weight now.

Do you just want to be "skinny" and fit into society's image of "pretty"? You would be better off if you just stick with eating whole foods-- fruits, veggies, legumes, whole grain, etc. Nothing fake. Nothing gimmicky. Just good, real food.

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going.

Check out following link for more details about different cleansing methods:

Good luck!
