Or is it still too soon to tell? We all know Jr knows how to win, so is he in or is he out?

This year has not been a good year for Jr. He has had alot on the plate. Getting all the bugs worked out of the new contract. Still trying to fix stuff with DEI and the Stepmom. Wanting to keep 8 and Bud, not getting to keep those, now he has to find a new number and sponser.

Next year will be alot better for Jr and Kahne.

Yes we should. Jr is done as far as this season goes. Sorry to all of you Jr. fans. Do not feel to bad, I am a Bobby LaBonte fan. Lol. It is sorry to say just from a NASCAR point of view. NASCAR needs Jr. in the Chase. "Better luck next year".

Well we'll see what happens at Richmond. Anyone can easily gain or loose points in between then. But I gotta say the chances are slim at this point. He'll need an engine that will hold together and some luck to say the least.

Hes out and next year will be worse in Hendrick equipment, face it based on the 24 and 48 the 5 and 25 are really nothing and Kyle Busch is really the key factor to the 5 team and with dud boy earnhardt going to the 5 car or whatever it will be like a whole new team and he will struggle more

It will be very hard for him to make up 160 points in only 3 races. He would need to run in the Top 3 in all 3 races and hope that Busch or Truex have problems early in all 3 races. It could happen but it isn't likely.

I think Teresa is behind all the problems at DEI. I also think there is no way she is going to let Jr. into the chase if she has anything to say about it.

He's out and right where he wants to be. Do you actually think Jr wants to finish another race for his wicked stepmother? She's ruining his fathers company, she's stripping him of everything that got him where he is today, and she's insulting the entire Nascar community while she's doing it! I bet we'll see him finish outside the top 20 for the rest of the season and he'll be back in the top 10 next year in Hendrick equipment!

Almost.
His saving grace is that Bristol and Richmond are coming. While the #2 is good at Bristol... the big wreck is lurking. If Jr can stay out of the wreck... he may have a chance.
