oh, wait . . . that's "obstinate". Sorry! ;)

Seriously, though, "obstetricians" (OB for short) are baby doctors (no, they are not doctors who are infants!). OB's examine, diagnose, and treat women during and after pregnancy and birth.

Ob's tend to pregnant mothers, or women who are trying to conceive. They are the doctor's that attend the birth and all other pre-natal and post-natal appointments.
