Shouldn't their questions be in Philosophy- a category of Humanities- which is what they believe in? Even Buddhism which is considered a kind of atheism is definitely a religion.

Cat, do u really think I'm afraid of atheists to ask this question. They answer everything in R&S. And Buddhism is not a theistic religion

This is a popular question- because there is absolutely no truth in it?

and BTW cats can't type. And if they did would they post anti-pet rants?

My question is not a call to arms or a suggestion that anyone be forceably removed (methinks the ladies doth protest an awful lot.) The question is what are atheists doing in R&S since atheism in itself is neither a religion nor related to spirituality. Thank you to those who are answering the actual question, seriously or not.

We were thrown out of the Cats section for drinking too much.

"do u really think I'm afraid of atheists "

Absolutely. That's why you keep trying to silence and discredit us. Your hysterics simply amuse us.

"It's Yahoo! Answers, a place for questions to be answered with real answers."

So, when do you plan on actually asking a real question? We haven't seen much more than "Why are you athiesests [sic] here?"

Why do people who don't drive race cars post in the NASCAR section? Why do humans post in the Cats section?

Non-theistic Pagan. You can have a religion and be an atheist, too!

Edit: You don't know that cats can't type. Just because YOU'VE never seen it doesn't mean it's not possible. How narrow minded. Hmph.

why are you afraid of atheists.. I am shocked by the number of posts from people who seem to think they have the right to segregate and discriminate against people who have a different outlook on life.
What are you afraid of?
Where did you get the notion that Buddhism is a form of atheism?... you are so wrong and completely misinformed I know not where to start...

Atheists do not ask questions about atheism here. They ask questions about religions.

I've always wanted to ask this- they've always said that atheism is not a religion, and yet they still some on RS and never put a real answer, it's always a smart remark or a comment.

Atheists- its time to realize that this isn't a forum or a place to discuss or a place to insult other people. It's Yahoo! Answers, a place for questions to be answered with real answers.

If you want a forum, I'm sure Yahoo has one just for you.

* Not all Atheists are like this, they deserve thanks.

DIFFERENT DRUMMERS

If I do not want what you want, please try not to tell me that my want is wrong.

Or if I believe other than you, at least pause before you correct my view.

Or if my emotion is less than yours, or more, given the same circumstances, try not to ask me to feel more strongly or weakly.

Or yet if I act, or fail to act, in the manner of your design for action, let me be.

I do not, for the moment at least, ask you to understand me. That will come only when you are willing to give up changing me into a copy of you.

I may be your spouse, your parent, your offspring, your friend, or your colleague. If you will allow me any of my own wants, or emotions, or beliefs, or actions, then you open yourself, so that some day these ways of mine might not seem so wrong, and might finally appear to you as right -- for me. To put up with me is the first step to understanding me. Not that you embrace my ways as right for you, but that you are no longer irritated or disappointed with me for my seeming waywardness. And in understanding me you might come to prize my differences from you, and, far from seeking to change me, preserve and even nurture those differences.

We have valid opinions on both religion and spirituality. This is not a closed, private, religion only board. Just so you know.

A great many questions are directed to Atheists. How are they expected to be answered if no Atheists ever read them ?
