Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." John 14:6 Why then do Muslims accept what Mahammed said, and not what Jesus said? There can only be one truth.

If your partner was caught cheating by a friend and that friend told you what they saw. And then you asked your partner if it was true and they said it didn't happen, only one of them is telling the truth. They both can't be true.

As Jesus is the only living God to say we have to go through Him to get to God, then everyone else (who are dead) is lying.

Writenimage: They both can't be true. If we sat on a round table and I said it was square but you said it was round, sure we may have a difference of opinions, but you would be telling the truth. The table Is round.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5 It's hard to understand that Jesus is both God and Human, but they are the same as is the Holy Spirit.

If Jesus isn't a God, how did He raise from the dead. Only a high supernaturel power can do that.

i am muslim, and if Jesus truly said this, then he said the truth, and we muslims accept Jesus and all the massengers sent by God. so we are not in differ with what he said, because we already believe in Jesus Message.

Quran Ch3
[84] Say "We believe in Allâh and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Ibrâhim (Abraham), Ismâ'il (Ishmael), Ishâque (Isaac), Ya'qûb (Jacob) and Al-Asbât (the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qûb (Jacob)) and what was given to Mûsâ (Moses), 'Isâ (Jesus) and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between one another among them and to Him (Allâh) we have submitted (in Islâm)."

and Jesus is NOT God. but your God is the one who sent him to you, and the one who created Adam and Eve. it's very important that you understand who is your God is. did Moses worship the trinity or only the God who sent him? did Abraham worship the trinity or only the God who sent him?

ok...ur saying muslims don't believe in what jesus said...right? why don't you actually go and find a copy of the Quraan in english and see what that has to say about jesus?....
before there was christianity, there was judism...the torah... when Jesus (pbuh) came along with the Bible, people turned to christianity as the new improved religion from God...
After christianity, came the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with Islam and the Quran...many people saw this as the new, improved version of the Bible. the only reason the quran and islam came along was because the bible was changed. it became corrupted. i mean isn't the Bible supposed to be the book of God? then why are there saying of the disciples in the Bible?...wouldn't you agree that these sayings would be the equivalent of the hadith of the prophet as they are both recordings of what each prophet said?
further more, at one time, way way way back before we were born, i'm sure, in the bible, there was mentionings of the prophet muhammad (pbuh) and that he would be the final messenger of God and would bring the Holy Quran which would be a complete way of life etc...so why should muslims turn away from believing and trusting completely the Book which has everything u need to know in it and look at the corrupted bible?
look at it in this way. if uv got windows XP on ur computer ie the latest version, why would u want to downgrade to windows 98 ie a more outdated version?
am i making any sense to anyone?

Jesus cant be god's son.God created Jesus and sent him down to earth to tell gods people to follow what Allah says. That is what a prophet is, Muhammad(PBUH),and Jesus(PBUH) are gods prophets.Allah has about 300 prophets but there are only about 100 in the Quran. So don't question Muslims there's different religions upon this earth and Islam is just the fastest growing religion(not to brag since i am a Muslim).See in the news they only show the radical side of Muslims(which there are peaceful Muslims in this world). So i hope you i answered your question and many more. Also Muslim don't believe in the Bible so don't waste your time listing biblical verses.Muslim do believe a lot of what Jesus said just different from the christian side.

Muslims believe a lot of what Jesus said. It's just their records are different to Christian records. Islam's teaching about Jesus reflects the doctrines of the Nestorian religion which influenced Muhammed's early life. The Nestorians were part of the Aryan heresy that rejected the divinity of Jesus.

Now read the whole of John 14 and be careful not to take verse 6 out of context.

We do believe in Jesus but we take the rulings of Muhammad because he is the most recent Prophet. For example Gordon Brown is now the Prime minister, What Tony Blair said and did maybe valid but Gordon Brown can now change that. That's the same with the Prophets we follow the most recent prophet because we are in Muhammad's era.

I'm a muslim. We believe that Jesus was the son of Mary, and that he was born without a father (virgin mary). We also believe that Jesus was a Phrophet (messenger of Allah).

We believe everything written in the Holy Qur'an, as the Holy Qur'an has not been ommitted or altered, nor would it be untill the Day of Judgement.

On the otherhand, the Holy Bible, has been altered various times, leading to false implications of the Christian faith, and in correct teachings.

Why don't you believe what Buddha said? It's personal preference. And on a more philosophical note... how do you know they can't both be true. Perhaps God appeared to different people in different form. Jesus may have been just on of his earthly forms. Perhaps other beliefs are nothing more than different translations of one divine entity.

They do! He's a prophet, but not the son of God. They don't believe its possible for God to have a son. They only came into being through Muhammed and they believe he is the Last, Greatest of the prophets.

There are many religions on this earth and people either take on the religion of their parents or they choose their religions or they just don't have one.

It's a big, wide world and it is arrogant to assume one way is the only way.

When you travel and learn about other cultures and beliefs, then this will make sense to you.
