I want to ride my bike in to town to buy some stuff from a store that is like 5 miles away, my parents would never usually let me ride my bike this far and it's on kind of a busy street. Neither of my parents are home and I've got a cell phone. If they call the house and I'm not home then I'd probably get in trouble.
But I don't really want to lie to them. What should I do?

If you violate their trust you could end up with a babysitter or grounded for a long time.
I suggest you rethink this.

Respect you parents and do what they tell you. They are not trying to upset you and make you miserable. They are only doing what they think is best for you. There are many predators out there that will take a teenager away. It doesn't hurt to wait for them to come home and have them take you there. If you respect them, you will have more priveledges later on before you know it.

Call forward the house phone into your cell phone. press *72 and then the phone number and to unforward the phone press *73 and this will unforward the phone.

Oh come on, it's not the end of the world if you just wait until they get home. Honor your parents' wishes. It's way worth it in the long run.

Stay home any way. If they find out you went, they won't trust you for a long, long time. One short delay on going into town isn't worth months of mistrust.

Either call them and let them know you need to leave, or wait for them to get home. Don't lie, and don't leave if you know they wouldn't be happy with that.

Don't do anything in life that you know is wrong or that you would have to lie about. If you can't be honest about what you're doing, then how do you feel about yourself while you're doing it?
