I ask you with total respect. Not because of what you believe, but because I treat others as I wish to be treated, it is never worth it to get you upset. If you can take it, and not feel offended! Thank you for your responses in advance. If not spare your feeling, and stop reading now.

I asked the Atheist many questions about how and why they ask those type questions that is related to God and religion. The questions were about their view of religion, not one specific religion. Yet, the Atheists made the assumption those questions were about one religion. Ever wondered why?
or, is it that is all you think about? Do you think that the Christians are the only people who believe in God? They are not. For those who are supposed to be in touch with reality! you seem to lack it in that area when it comes to religion. Or, is it just for Christianity?

What do you know. My question was deleted. Thank you so much. I know now that there are many who can not take it, but they don't mind dishing it out.

I was civil and do want all to live and let live. Too bad freedom of speech is dead and Pc is well and kicking.

Thank you.

If you wish to see it. I can post it for you again. But I wonder if big brother is standing by protecting the sensitive feeling of those who wish my question gone.
Thanks again guys.

Dear Veronica S,
That is what I said. They are not the only people who believe in God. read it again, you may have missed it. TY.

As for smart. At this moment. Not very much. Sitting here trying to make a conversation with people who seems to only want to tell you what they think and shut you up if you say something to them.
So civilized and mature guys. thanks.

jonjon418,
Thank you. I agree with you about something, and disagree with some. That is the Beauty of asking and answering. We agree at times, and disagree at other. It doesn't mean I would ever change my way of live and let live. It will remain the same.
Thank you again.

EvolvedKW, It takes fairly an insecure person who goes running for mom and dad whenever said something or ask a question that makes them think. Atheists believe or not believe in God. Was not one of the question, nor do I care. Live and let live. No skin off my nose if they do or don't. Ty anyhow.

R+S programming.

Being here a while causes people to assume things.

Most people who ask questions addressed to atheists are either Christians or are atheists themselves. Others, like for example Muslims, usually add their religion in the additional details. Just speaking from my R+S experience.

People on this forum tend to complain about Christianity more than other religions because most of us live in America, or at least in the West, where the majority of "religious" people are Christian. It's what's "in our faces."

For the record, I have the same problems with all dogmatic religions that I have with Christianity. Believe what you will - live and let live! - but when a lot of people start believing crazy things, there tend to be repercussions.

If it was so respectful, how come it got deleted?

Aw, I know better than that. Stuff gets deleted on here for no reason other than someone disagreeing with you. The admins don't even read the abuse reports.

Care to repeat the question?

It takes a fairly obnoxious post to be deleted here. However, Atheists do not believe in god. Any god.

Have you ever noticed that the people answering live in a culture dominated by Christian ideology? Maybe that's why we often answer in THAT context. But the questions and subsequent answers largely pertain to all religions, so please, stop making yourself out to be a victim.

If you capitalize the "G" in "God" then the assumption, in Western Civilization, is that you're referring to the god of Abraham.

A real atheist does not believe in any god or gods.
