I have tried putting her on the toilet every 15 or 20 minutes for about 10 minutes. After she gets up she goes in her pull-ups or underwear a little later. I have tried rewards, taking things away, even leaving her in her diaper for some time. None of this has worked. I know she is a little behind in her talking but does that effect potty training? I do not want to spank her for something that is perfectly normal. She was starting to potty train when she was in daycare for a short time but stopped after I had to take her out. Does anyone have any ideas that I may not have tried yet?

I just potty trained my son and daughter. I like an approach where I don't have to pressure or push my child. What worked for me was The Potty Stool http://www.thepottystool.com I started by just setting it at the toilet. My kids immediately climbed up on the stool and discovered that they could safely use the toilet. This got them very interested in using the toilet and they were potty trained very quickly. Kids like to use what they know mommy and daddy use.

I like that I don't have to double the steps of potty training by training them first in a potty and then training them to stop using a potty. And not dumping and cleaning a potty each time is great. The best thing is that kids use it for years. I hope this helps you.

Does she go in with you when you use the toilet? Is she afraid of the big toilet? Make a production out of flushing what she does produce.
When I was training my twins, we had a split level house, so the toilets were either upstairs or down, not on the level with the kitchen, LR. So I got another potty chair to put in the kitchen. It looked wierd, but really helped.
Mostly you just have to wait until she's ready. I thought I'd never train my boy, then he suddenly stayed dry, even at night and that was that.

my daughter is 2 1/2 and iv been potty training for a couple months. with my daughter i left her nappy of all day and kept asking her if she needs potty, try sitting her on the potty and asking if she needs to go potty shell just say no but make sure you keep asking if she needs to go wee.
make sure she can see the pooty and try to put on in the rooms she usely goes in so she knows its there if needed.
if this dosent work try putting her in big girls pants and see if she'll go wearing them, children feel comfy when they wear nickers its just like a nappy.
and when she does go potty make sure you prasie her she'll love that.
good luck, its goona take some time so be patient

stop flip flopping
get consistent

take her once an hour every hour every single day and use panties when awake at home. use pull ups for outings naps and bedtime

this works and works well when she pees her pants dont rush and change her. let her stay wet for a little while 5 minutes tops. if she uncomfortable she will stop doing it.
when you do go to change her, make her change herself. give her the washcloth to was her own legs and girl part. this will bother her she wont like all the work involved in peeing her pants. she will start going potty to avoid it all

don't spank her.when she is ready she will use the potty.maybe taking her out of daycare confused her and she's not sure of what she has to do.i know of two children who had no encouragement to potty train, yet both of them reached the age of three or so and decided themselves it was time to grow up.after all the hours i spent trying to potty train my children.deciding for themselves seems to be the way to go.

get her some big girl undies and tell her she needs to try her best when she doesn't wet them. Influence her by telling her things like, big girls dont wet themselves, things like that
