i always flinch and inturn blink right before they hit my eyes. any tips to make it easier?

TIPS:
1] practice with saline drops, so you don't waste medication
2] hold bottle to dose your eye, and rest index finger on brow of that eye. Aim bottle towards middle of eye, near the nose.
3] squeeze drop in with middle finger and thumb, while looking away from the bottle [ out towards side works for me ]
4] if you blink, immediately squeeze one more drop so you 'catch' your eye open.
5] if you have to do both eyes, rest hand on top of nose for second dose.
** I had to teach my son to do this at age 9 - he was on eye drops every two hours for two weeks!

Put your drops in the fridge, that way they are cold when they go into your eye and you Know that they are in.
Close the eye that you want the drops in and tip your head all the way to the ceiling. Drop one drop in the corner of your eye near your nose with your eyes closed and your head still tilted up, now open your eye. With your head tilted up this way the drop has no where else to go but into your eye.

lean our head to the side and put the drop in the outer corner of your eye instead of dropping it right in the middle and watching it fall!

look up or down &/or open you eye lids and close your eye while doing it
