Does it hurt like on a scale of 1 to 10, and can you still breastfeed with it done, without the ring obviously!

Hey...I have done mine twice..both times I have taken them out within 3-4 months...I had them done at the same time the first time..(two piercers)..it hurt about a 5..but one was crooked..and forget lacy sexy bras for a while..or anything without some kind of padding..unless you don't care if people see the outline (I was in a professional work environment so it didn't work so well with my job)...The second time One piercer did it...and that was like a 7 or 8 because they had already been done...
Mine have been closed about two years..I am ready to give birth within the next two weeks, and the way they close up you can still nurse, but there is a kind of small hole (like a really deep pore from a pimple) that you do have to keep clean because frankly this is really gross...but dead skin builds up and when you become pregnant your body is going through so many changes it becomes twice as bad..and you don't want to have your baby getting dead skin from you...
Think about it carefully..they were fun for about a millisecond and now I wish I had never done it.

I have both done, tongue gets numbed if you ask for it and it just feels uncomfortable being pierced, it hurts after though because it swells up and you have to eat, I have a love hate relationship with my tongue though because it's chipped one of my teeth, I bite it when eating and that hurts, have to wear a clear one for work and I swallow the bar/ball a lot (I'm on my 5th bar and I only got it done 2 months ago) As for my nipple, **** me it hurt, I literally screamed and then couldn't stop laughing. It hurts on and off, I've had it done for 3 weeks and I love it, it is really pretty but it does hurt. I always wear a bra because I have large boobs and it bled a lot for the first few days. I recommend cleaning it a lot because I only clean mine when I have a shower and it's infected but it's still worth it. Nipples hurt a lot more than tongues though...your mum will definitely notice your tongue piercing because it swells like a *****

It's a quick flash of pain, then you're ok. I don't know how to rate it since it's such a brief moment of pain. Piercers say nipple piercing is less painful for women than men because women's nipples were meant to be used for breastfeeding and therefore bitten by babies :oP
I am sure you'll be just fine breastfeeding once the nipple has healed fully and as long as you take the ring out. I have a friend with both nipples pierced who had her second baby a year ago and she breastfed her.

Yes, definitely it hurts as the nipple and the skin surrounding the nipple--the areola, are highly sensitive as these areas are supplied with rich nerve supply and which are particularly sensitive to touch perceptions.
It depends on an individual whether she would still like to breastfeed a baby after piercing the nipple, but certainly sucking on a pierced nipple is not going to be highly desirable and more so, a pleasant experience for the baby sucking on such nipples!

The scar tissue that forms inside the nipple, depending on how big the nipple is, will prevent the flow of milk, unfortunately. But I have seen some cases where I have pierced them and they come in with the baby in tow a year later just suckling away! It all really depends on how extreme your body reacts to injury (which is technically what the piercing is to your body) and how prone you are to scar tissue. If your ears have been pierced and you feel a fairly huge lump in there after having them pierced for a long time, that should be a good indication of your scar tissue development.

On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it about a 4, really not that painful. Since I'm a guy I don't have a clue on the breastfeeding , But love a girl w/ her nips pierced :)

I have had several piercings,( none of which are a nipple piercings) and none of them really hurt when they actually do the piercing, it's afterwords when they hurt the worst. I have known quite a few people who have had them done and they say that they don't hurt that bad. As with any piercing, they can become infected, so if you are currently breast feeding, I would not advise you to go out and get one until your are done brest feeding.

score of 1-10. a 20. And unless you really like the pain, you will let them do the first 1 then quit and not get the second done because it hurts too badly.

I'd say on the scale probably a 7 seriously only for about a day and a half. Yes you can still brestfeed too! Just like any other pain it goes away and you forget about it.
