God, you are so wrong all the time! Judaism, in any form, does not believe in "end times." When the Messiah comes, he will bring peace to earth. There's nothing about the Messiah coming and the world ending. Stop speaking for Jews! That is so arrogant of you!

I don't know about anybody else, but End Times for Christians depends on your interpretation of scripture. These people who do graphs and time lines have gone right over the edge, since the Bible says even Jesus doesn't know when the end comes. I don't know where 2012 came from, it sounds to me like another "2000" scare.

They have always believed that this(whatever contemporary age it was) is the END TIMES
For Christians the 2nd Coming is the next Kairos Event after Pentecost and the only really unique one since Pentecost. Come .Lord Jesus.

The Christian faith believes in a triune God. it incredibly is tricky to hold close however the way the early Christians defined it grew to become into by skill of the doctrine of homoousios which skill one substance. The sunlight grew to become into used as an analogy to tutor that a photo voltaic flare that comes out from the sunlight (ie Jesus) is of the comparable substance by way of fact the sunlight and after it reunites with the source they exchange into indistinguishable. solid question. do no longer confuse this with modalism which early Christians rejected that reported the three areas of God are merely different modes or representations of the comparable God.

In Christianity we do not know when the "end times" will be...it could be in 5 minutes, it could be in 500 million years+....you never know....
I believe as far as the bible goes you are speaking about Revelations, which never defines the end of time...also, Jesus Himself said, "You will not know the day nor the hour..."
I personally think that Christianity is more of a focus on the "here-and-now" and less on the end times...They never talk about the end of time at my church, just how you are supposed to treat ppl during your life, and how to become closer to God...

I think the generation we currently live in is the generation the bible spoke about.
"Man will be able to run to and fro" - (Trains, Buses, Trucks, Cars, airplanes, Subway rails)
"Knowledge will be increased" - Look at the world today and compare it with the first century. Enough said.
"Fire in the sky will utterly destroy nations and kingdoms" -
John was either speaking of meteors or nuclear war. Either way you like at it. One of the two are going to happen.
Increase of natural disasters, famine, pestilence, viruses such as hiv, aids, bird flu, sars, west nile...etc..etc...etc. - Look at the weather reports in this generation. We are having record breaking natural disasters. And the increase of world starvation is at an all time high. The spread of diseases is so far out of control, Science can't keep up.
"Every eye shall witness the coming of Christ" - This was not possible until the 19th century with the invention of cable tv and satellites.
"Nation shall rise against nation and Kingdom against Kingdom" - Read the current events in the world today. Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Iraq want to completely and utterly destroy Israel and America.
'Wars and rumors of war" - Currently there are 67 wars throughout the world. The United States has been lingering the possibility of going to war with Iran. Israel is talking about going to war with Syria and Iran. Israel is at war with Lebanon. The U.S is currently at war with Iraq and Afghanistan.

We're in the "Latter-Days" aka "Last Days" which only means that there will never be another apostacy. It does not mean the world will end in 5 years. I'm not saying it won't, but I think it will end within the next 500 years.

Not all Christians do. I'm sure not everyone in the two other monotheistic Abrahamic religions do either. You can speak for yourself, but don't put words into the mouths of others.

They have ALWAYS believed we are in the end times. Almost every religion ever devised has thought that the end of the world was nigh.

The difference between Christian "end times" and Jewish "end times" is that the Christian end times brings eternal torment for non-believers. The Jewish "end times" brings peace on earth and justice for all mankind -- regardless of beliefs!
