If not, then why doesn't he simply FORGIVE them? If everyone is meant to go to heaven, why not simply let everyone into heaven? They would believe once they got there and saw that it was true. And since he's all powerful wouldn't he be able to control anyone that would be unruly or indignant? So what keeps him from simply letting EVERYONE into heaven, regardless of beliefs? Human free-will has NOTHING to do with GOD'S FREE WILL. If he were just, then he wouldn't set or allow traps such as other religions and incompatible earthly evidence, but yet there it is: http://www.sacred-texts.com http://www.whatjewsbelieve.org http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com http://www.messiahtruth.org http://www.cnn.com evidence in abundance that the christian variety of theology is clearly wrong. If god wanted people to go to heaven, why would he allow this, but yet require faith in christianity as a requirement for admittance? Why give us a brain to reason if we're not meant to reason?

No one knows for sure that God *doesn't* forgive everyone, or give us each a chance to choose God's way one we "got there" and saw what was or was not true.

On the other hand, why doesn't everyone choose to follow God's way (however they interpret that)? It's Pascal's Wager: If you bet against the existence of God and win, what have you gained? And if you live as if there is a God (a good one, presumably), and lose, what have you lost?

ummmmm

tough question. but I will try to answer it. I don't think God is going to burn anyone and I don't think that even if he does plan to burn the nonbelievers he wouldn't enjoy it.

OK, here is what I think is going to happen. I think when we die, god will look into each of our hearts and judge us. So nonbeliever or not, he will look into our hearts and judge us on our actions.

I am not a theologian and I don't know all the techinical stuff and some of your questions are sooo deep. But I just have to believe that our god is a good god. and in the end it will be explained. :-)

The Bible says he gave man a free will the choice between a blessing or a curse. It has to be your choice.
Oh, and he will readily forgive you, but again it has to be your choice to be forgiven. Ask him for forgiveness and confees everything to him and he will wipe the slate clean and it will be as if it never happened.
God does want everyone to go to Heaven, but he will not force you to believe. Thats why the Bible says my people parish for lack of knowledge. It is so sad but true.

there may well be a great style of religions on earth yet interior the eternal worldwide there is basically one God & one way of coping with the sinners. To me a Christian or Muslim is comparable to a Hindu or Buddhist.

Let's say we have a brother-in-law that comes by the house, eats our food, starts fights, rapes our kids, kills our wife, kicks the dog, throws the cat against the wall and just plains hates us. Then you're saying we should do nothing to this person but roll out the red carpet and embrace them?

People by their words and actions are saying we don't like you God, we don't like what you stand for and we refuse to do anything you tell us to do. Why would anyone want these kind of people in Paradise?

I find the Christian view of hell as very ridicules and nothing but a morbid fantasy invented by the church to keep all people in line and under the power of fanatics who only lust after their own agenda. We all create our own heaven and hell right here in this very lifetime.

No, He does not. But He will. Because as He is love, He is also Just. He will keep His Word.

He will forgive, but you need to ask forgiveness. He forgives everything what you ask forgiveness for. How hard it is to ask forgiveness. People rather burn in hell. I do not get it.

You will never understand the great mercy and grace of God if you rely on your own understanding.

To forgive someone who doesn't really want it by not being repentant, then the universe would not include free-will where people could do what they want so long as they face consequences. You have a warped sense of what justice is if people shouldn't have to face consequences for their actions and relied on the "goodness of God" to cover up their mistakes.
God won't forgive you for believing in CNN unless you use your head to see your error- and repent.

Excellent question, and you are correct! Keep trying like you have been. You are not going to be able to get through to all of them, but if you can even get through one, every now and then, you are making good progress! *sm*
