"Invented?" WTF?
As copiously noted already, all mammals produce milk to feed their young, including humans.
Not mentioned yet is that the gene for lactose *tolerance*---the ability to digest milk as an adult---is geographically centered on the Funnel Beaker Culture of pre-Migration Age Northern Europe, and grows exponentially less common in a radially concentric pattern of occurrence as one travels away from it.
In layman's terms, that would mean that your God only wanted my NON-Jewish, Northern European ancestors to drink milk and eat butter and cheese, and not Africans, Medittereaneans, Amerinds, or Asians, most of whom cannot digest it.
Seems to me that would make Vikings, not Hebrews, the "Chosen People." :-)

All mammals produce milk for their young.
The cow has been domesticated and bred by humans to increase its milk production. Virtually everything we eat, from bananas to chicken to corn, is mostly our own creation.
If the banana was designed by God to be the perfect food, then God is the native humans of Papua, New Guinea.

All female mammals produce milk, maybe even your own mother.
The modern dairy cow is an unnatural animal produced by centuries of selective breeding.
It could not survive in the wild

Did your nose get designed so that it could provide support for spectacles? I think not. That would be the wrong way round, and similarly your example is the wrong way round. Milking exists because cows exist, not the other way round.

Well, the milk is there for their calves, not for us. But we steal it and let the calves go hungry and then claim that they are veal. A vicious circle that the cows can't get out of.
