I have these spots all over my eyeglasses. I asked the eye care place if there was any way to clean or polish them off, but she said they probably came from hairspray? Because I leave them in the bathroom a lot when I am wearing my contacts. She said it would not come off and I need to get new ones, but I think she was probably just trying to get me to buy new ones because I have had these a long time. I hardly wear them because I wear contacts the majority of the time, but I would like to be able to see clearly when I do wear them. Any suggestions on how to remove the spots? Thank You!

I'm certian if it's hair spray, it should come off, because you can wash hair spray off your hair! Maybe try warm water and soap, or rubbing alcohol?

I had the same problem. A lady at LensCrafters told me to use rubbing alcohol.
