GOD ISN'T LOOKING FOR PERFECTION.

HE'S LOOKING FOR PRECISION.

HOW WELL CAN YOU FOLLOW HIS INSTRUCTIONS?...

I do so love a challenge, and that's only part of it. There are times when something comes along and challenges my faith in God, and these can be life altering times. It is how I deal with these issues, what decisions I make, actions I take, that will pretty much determine where my path, my life, will be going from that point on. Challenges to my faith are personal challenges to me, my self and my beliefs. It is not so important to measure up to God as it is for me to measure up to my expectations of me and to tear apart the limits I or life have set upon me. This, I think, is part of the plan God has for us. Do what we can with what we have in the time we've been given. Make the most of all of it, even the challenges, which we will always, win or lose, learn something from.

Thank you for such a wonderful question!
Peace!

God has never said such nonsense.

I think i'll quote your avatar name from God to you... udontknowme

I will say this, however. You "can" measure up with His strength, power and Spirit. Try Him sometime, His way, not your own or someone elses way. He won't let you down!

You are correct. Without Christ, we would never be justified by our good works or traditions. However, because of the finished work of Christ, I can now stand before God full justified.

Romans 5:18
Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

Because I know that someday, I will put on perfection in the form of a new body at the resurrection.

Measuring up to God is not the priority.......because no one could ever do that.

The fact is: We are all sinners in need of the Savior....and I have Him living within me......and therefore, I am saved!

Praise God

Why do you ask questions on a subject that you obviously have no understanding of? If you indeed have a desire to learn I will assist you in that endeavor.

Because he also tells me that it's OK that I don't measure up because Jesus measures up for me and I can do all things through Jesus.

God doesn't say that. He knows we are imperfect and the only way to him is to try to be the best we can.
