Even my hands. My thighs really hurt when I walk or ride a bike. My arms when I drive the car. My stomach muscles as well. This has come on suddenly. I am on a very low calorie diet.

Being on a low calorie diet can cause muscular pain. You need to drink More water. Dehydration can cause severe pain in the muscles. I recommend you drink purified water mixed with Mineral Water 50/50. This will replace the minerals that are exiting your body continuously. You must drink beyond your thirst to get the benefits of hydration and the real key is the Mineral Water.

I suggest that adults and children drink 40 ounces of water per 100 pounds of body weight every day.

I suggest you add a handful of Almonds to your diet every day. This is going to supply your body with much needed nutrients to help the muscles.

Take a hot bath with 2c. of dissolved Epsom salts. Soak for 30 minutes. The Epsom salts will help eliminate the lactic acid that forms on the muscles .

Massage an analgesic cream into the sore muscles.

if you have any further questions please let me know.

Well maybe your low calorie diet is doing this. How many days have you been on this diet? Is it prescribed by a doctor or a nutritionist? Are you eating any meats?

If you have been on this diet for a long long time, and have conjured it up without medical advice and you are not taking any meats then it is a carb defficiency, and your muscles need protien. It could be also weakness due to lack of other nutrients.

When you are on a low carb diet your body burns fats and when you see you suddenly lose wieght and think your diet is working ti is actually the initial surge of water loss. As the diet goes on due to the process of ketosis your body begins to break down proteins in your body for your brain. The protein in your muscle is broken down and you end up with weakness and fatigue.

Now dont go to walgreen and buy some supplemental pills. Do your body some good, eat a nice steak tonight and drink gatorade instead of water when you run. Then, go see a nutritionist.

If you get really want to get check up ask your doctor to do a urinalysis and ceck urine for ketones in urine.

I hope you get back to eating healthy. This can cause damage to your internal organs staring with the liver and kidneys. Your kidneys at least you could live with one.. but a liver, its important, hence the name 'live'-r.
