The debate on evolution will continue until it goes from the THEORY of evolution to the LAW of evolution. With that said, since it is a theory that makes it as yet undecided. Furthermore, you have to distance yourself among macro-evolution and micro-evolution. Macro-evolution would be, for example, the belief man came from an ape-like creature. This is still up for debate. However, micro-evolution is very much real. One simple example are antibiotic resistant bacteria. They are evolving to be resistant to certain antibiotics, say ampicillin. Now some people believe that humans are the exception. That we do not experience evolution at all. I don't see how this is possible. I think the question we need to ask is how do we select for stronger traits? And more importantly, how is this done at the molecular level? Evolution is real. We just need to look at it in the correct light because so many people don't look at macro- versus micro-evolution.

The funny thing is that the part that creationist have issues with is universal common descent, that we all diverged from a common ancestor. This is now treated as a fact - an observation. The part of evolutionary theory that is being refined and occasionally debated is the weight of forces like natural vs. sexual selection, the impact of various environmental forces on natural selection, and the pace that change occurs at. There are also parts of the phylogenic tree awaiting further clarification. But what is established beyond all doubt is that all life DID evolve from a common ancestor in branching lines.

There is a disturbing trend of scientists, teachers, and students coming under attack for expressing support in the theory of intelligent design, or even just questioning evolution. The freedom of scientists, teachers, and students to question Darwin's theory, or to express alternative scientific hypothesis is coming under increasing attack by people that can only be called Darwinian fundamentalists.”
New Ben Stein Flick, Expelled, Blows the Whistle on Evolution.
Expelled is a disturbing new documentary that will shock anyone who thinks all scientists are free to follow the evidence wherever it may lead.

I'm sure the theory needs to be refined, as there is much we don't know and new discoveries all the time, but I think the general idea is sound. Scientific theories *should* be questioned, that's the point, but not attacked with ignorant statements by people who have already arrived at a conclusion.
And frankly I'll take a working theory that is constantly updated according to new information, versus the ribbit "Goddidit" which is totally useless and doesn't explain anything.

Only religious fanatics don't believe in evolution. The true Church of God had the answers but they are now lukewarm and preparing for the return of Jesus. Most religions have changed things to make more people come to their Church.

It's actually pretty simple.
Evolution certainly exists because humans have seen animals and themselves evolve.
Babies evolve from infant to adult. We know evolution to be true, and we know adaptive evolution to be true.
the basis of the argument is what we, as a species, evolved from, and many of those previously thought chains of evolution are being discounted.
Recent discoveries have shown impossibililties in the evolution process currently believed.
I believe evolution exists, but the question isn't the eistence of evolution, but when it started with us and what we began as.
It is tough for many people to believe they evolved from a mouse or monkey.

Rest easy, after it was realized it became a self-evident truth. Only those who limit God aren't able to marvel as revelations of how old and complicated this universe are unfolds. As our understanding of the universe expands the universe expands as the universe expands our understanding of God expands.

the ones opposing it are not at all thinking that it is not true ,but they say it isn't true because they are afraid they will miss the bandwagon when they die! they just want to make sure that in case there really is a god(right) they don't offend him by going with logic!

your god spirit created your body from the DNA given to you by your mom and dad
and you are being given the opportunity to evolve a personality soul every single day
