My dog is been in the hospital for the past 2 days. Is very sick with several conditions that we didn't know he had. Everytime we went for check ups they used to say he was ok that it was very common for dogs of that breed (yorkies) to have those episodes . The dog was always sick and sad. Where I live, Puerto Rico pets are not consider part of the family by society, is just not part of our culture. The country is not pet friendly period. My heart is broken because I feel that theres something that they could have done to prevent this in the past. He is a wonderful dog. I am so dissapointed with all the vets that saw him, none of them really cared. In other words you don't see here what you see in ER animal planet, vets fighting and helping the pets in need. . I heard that a lot of them rather put them to sleep and later tell that theres nothing they could do for them, is so sad. I am in my home in tears right now thinking that my baby is all alone in a hospital room, God knows how.

For everyone who pray for my loving Dog "Prince" (the yorkie) I Thank from the bottom of my heart. He is in Heaven now after 5 days in the hospital. Keep praying for my 9 year old daughter to be strong and to have peace. God Bless you all and your loving pets. I will definetly pray for you...
God, I feel so sad for you. To have your baby treated like trash... it must feel horrible. Maybe you could research and try to find the best vet clinic in PR... but if you don't have the time or money, I'm sure God will work things out. God always knows what he's doing.
I hope with all my heart that everything works out.
( I had a chihuahua whom died after being cared for by a vet. We had to put her to sleep because she was suffering so much. So I think I have an idea of how you are feeling. She was my baby, and I loved her so much, but I'm sure she is happier now. )

Oh my goodness, Im so sorry, I will definitly pray for your puppy and you, also my grandmother is very religous and always prays for the people that they annouced have passed away in church so im sure she would pray for you too. I also have a yorkie that i just got yesterday and already am in love with her and cant imagine her being in the hospital.bI really hope your dog gets better and taken back to her loving home. I will pray for your baby and for you. I know how hard it is to have a sick puppy at the vet's office and not know what is going on and not being able to be there with him. I am so sorry for the way he was treated at the different vet's office's there. You are both in my prayers!! I hope he gets better and gets to come home to his mommy. God bless you.

So sorry for your loss. If you get another pet. make sure they draw blood starting from the time he/she is 2 years old. My vet does it once a year to ensure there is nothing going on inside with their kidneys and stuff. That way any problems can be caught early. God Bless You

I'm sorry that you lost your dog. I pray for your daughter to be strong and that she holds up well. I know it's hard to lose a pet. I'll never forget about them and that's why there like a family member. It'll get better in time though.

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. I would feel exactly the same way as you do. SOmeone should have figured out what was wrong with him by now. I have 3 little dogs and they are all my babies. I will be thinking about you all day and praying for you and your baby. :(

Yes, I will. I am sorry that you are having such a sad experience with your dog.
Here in America, people tend to value animals over children and other animals. It can be a bit extreme, and ridiculous, the opposite of your country..
....not all vets are like the animal planet ones....remember they are on TV, for drama....

We recently lost our Cocker Spaniel after a hospital stay. I understand the intense hurt and frustration. I will pray for both you and your dog. But remember, no matter what, you will be together again one day.

So very sorry, but please don't I should done this to yourself. You did what you could and had bad medical advice. We all trust in doctors as you did. Glad he is getting the help he needs and I will be thinking of you and your pup through the week. Hope all is fine with you guys and keep us posted. Prayers are with you!
