Hi, First you need something that will help you to relax completely and to make you sleepy. Drink some hot chocolate before getting into bed. Secondly, invest in an I-pod and upload some very soothing music. Do not use vocals, heavy drumming or music with high and low ranges in it. Ochestras are best and play it at a low volume so that you can just hear it. Also buy 'soft insert' ear plugs that won't press too hard in your ear while you are asleep. Sweet dreams!

No sugar/caffeine or exercise at least 3-4 hours before bed.
Have a normal "bed time" that you adhere to so your body gets used to it.

If that's not enough, there are a lot of natural supplements that help for sleep and relaxation like Melatonin, L-Tryptophan, 5-HTP, Scullcap (an herb... it just sounds bad), L-Taurine, and Passionflower. They are all natural products that are very popular to help people sleep without any side effects (although some drugs or medical conditions may interact with them).

It's also important not to use some of those "multi-pills" for sleep like Tylenol PM (unless you also have a headache that's keeping you up) or Benedryl (unless your allergies are keeping you up). You should never take medications you don't need.

Listen to a quiet soothing song on your radio. Put it on sleep so it turns itself off. Have it very quiet so you can barely hear it. No RAP.
