Actually, many different ways.
Some eyes are sad, some happy, some mean, and some with no expression at all.

Well, you see, most dogs eyes are on the front of their face above their nose spread apart a bit unless they have a mutation of some sort or genetics did something to them.

Part the hair...if you only see one eye...it is the wrong end! Turn the dog around and try it again
